as good as their aluminum square and LIGHTER for my bags. the color helps them stand out in the toolbox pig pile. the 2nd one is a nice bonus!

This square has been perfect for me. It’s a great quality for the price and I love the bright orange color so I don’t lose it in the middle of my project. It’s durable and it squares up my projects perfectly! It’s also lightweight to reduce your belt weight. I definitely recommend this to anyone needing a square in a budget!

Purchased this for just a quick job to square up my 3d printers and it’s obviously super easy to use. Everything is straight and square. Can be used to do multiple things but as stated I only used it for one thing. Made with great quality, seems super durable and can last long on any job site. Super light and not overly bulky and can fit in carpenter bag. Highly recommend for small projects around the house and can only assume it will work and last on any job site for years to come, obviously haven’t tested that claim. Great value for your money and definitely recommend

It’s practically just as good as the metal ones. It’s not as rigid — there’s a slight flex if you try to bend it — but for a novice hobbyist like me, the downside is hardly one at all. Instead it’s practical and offers other benefits like being more lightweight, is less likely to dent the floor if you drop it, can be marked on with a pencil, is easy to spot with its bright orange colour and best of all, is cheaper. I don’t know for sure but I have a feeling using this material is overall better for the environment from manufacturing to transportation to (possibly one day that I won’t want it anymore) recycling too.

It is good quality and it's very lightweight. I bought this to have a second speed square. When I bought it, it was $3.99 and an excellent bargain for the price. I don't think I would pay $9.99 for it.

I'm a landscape contractor and sometimes build decks and fences. I always had a metal one of these but all of my tools were recently stolen so I had to buy a new one of these. I wasn't sure if I would like this plastic version, or a bright orange one, but I actually like this more than my metal one. It's more lightweight, easier to spot on the jobsite when I need it, and it's stabbing power into my ribs when leaning the wrong way with it in my tool belt is a bit less harsh. I'm mainly just using this this time around as a saw guide so I can cut long text boards at perfect 90-degree angles. It's perfect for that. Just hold the square tight against the trex board, and cut away. Perfect cut, every time.

I bought this as I wanted to cut a number of angled pieces of wood and had no easy way to do it. The tool is made out of a form of reinforced plastic, it appears quite strong and the numbers are engraved into the frame. I did consider bying a metal one but the price was too high for the amount of use I would be putting the tool to - I'm only a DIYer!! Would recomment it to others.

Perfect tool for a quick accurate straight line. Cheaper then the metal version. Only issue for UK user's is that there is no centimetre markings. It's all inches. There is a version (metal) which has centimetre's but is more expensive. Should have gone with that.
