Easy to assemble, sturdy and extremely versatile. Fits in its case which is compact and light. I like to paint while we travel the US and this makes it easy to do! Great purchase.

I really like the prop that screws into the easel and stays handy attached with a strong magnet, enabling me to use the easel on a table as well as on a tripod. Frankly, the brush holder won't be useful to me, because I use more flat brushes than round ones, but it is good to have. I like the sturdiness of the easel and the palette and love the fact that the palette cover snaps into place. The bag is well made. I have traveled with this set, both by air and by car, and everything holds up well. I had a problem with the tripod breaking after only one flight and about three plein air excursions by car, and the seller replaced the tripod, no questions asked, almost immediately. Kudos!! The water container included is a good one, but one I already had actually fits into the hole in the easel, so I use it. It is cool to have a level on the tripod mount, even though I don't know what I will use it for. (I just like levels.)

Saw this in a catalog for more money and wanted to see it in person before I put that much money into an easel. An art store (Jerry’s) told me they would get one in and never did, eventually misplaced the catalog with the name of the easel and could not find it anywhere. THEN found it for less here on Amazon, ordered it and am so glad I waited. The easel is lightweight, my number one concern, Adjusts to different heights for sitting and standing, my number 2 concern. I can adjust every single part of the set up to accommodate my needs at the moment. The bag makes it easy to transport, fits what supplies I need to bring along with a snack and some beverage for me, water for painting, bungees and bug spray. They tray can not take too much weight or a great deal of pressure but that shouldn’t be an issue for most. I love it.

I want to commend En Plein Air Pro's customer service. There was a mix up over my order and its shipping. When I made this known they called me right away. I pointed out the error; there was no doubt or debate or attempt to show me as wrong. I said I had originally hoped to have the item in hand in what was now less than a 5 days away for use on a special occasion -- and they delivered. I'm impressed and pleased.

So far so good. I have a large easel but it’s not ideal for watercolor. While I purchased this easel for use in the field, I decided to try it out at home first. It works great! I don’t follow directions well. That’s good because mine had none but the pictures were enough. Easy assembly. Sturdy construction. Wish there were more brush holders for small brushes but that’s not a big deal just a suggestion...can’t make it custom for everyone. Haven’t tried in the field but don’t anticipate a problem! Love! One final not, I debated as to whether to purchase this model or the less expensive one. Glad I went with this one even though it weighs a little more. It’s just roomier. Better work space!

Expensive but worth the price. Portability is a plus.

Need I say more? Go get yourself one! Sturdy, adjustable and light weight.

Great concept, flimsy execution. It is serviceable, but I anticipate it not lasting in the long run. Specifically, all the easy attachments "wiggle" which is not something that anyone wants when they are putting the final touches on their "masterpiece."
