Python - Programming
I had just started reading this book and was starting to get to the good stuff when my boy took it from me to read. From what I read, I would have to say it was good and I would recommend it. I was looking for an introduction to python and it seemed like this book was going to give me a better understanding of what it was and what I could do with it.

Awesome book. I bought it to use with my college programming class and I finished with a 98.1 in the class. I would recommend it to anyone just starting out programming. The projects in the book are easy to understand and work through. After using the book to learn I had a sense of accomplishment.

Programmers beginning to learn
It seems to be written for experienced programmers,or ones with more knowledge than me. I was probably needing a remedial course before working with this book.Most programmers are self-taught, and with just a little experience, I believe this will improve my job opportunities.

Great beginner programming book!
This book is for beginners - ABSOLUTE beginners. If you have any programming knowledge at all this is not the book for you, but if you're looking to get started in Python programming with an easy to read book with exercises then it's definitely for you!

worth it
It's really helping me learn. Make sure you have time for you. Distractions will get you no where.After years of trying to learn this book is allowing me to write codes for the first time.

Need to contain more stuff in this book!
Tells you some REALLY basic knowledge of using python. That's it. You can learn more than that by downloading free content rich books in pdf format, easy to learn, step by step, from other websites.

The Dummies book series are awesome.
12 dollars cheaper than local outlets and free shipping. Can't beat it! Have only progressed 1 chapter, but looks promising leafing through the chapters at a quick glance.

worthless
This book is covers less material than the python book written for kids. The first half of the book is useless, andthe middle contains perhaps one chapter of use. Then the book's level drops down again. The material on classes istrivial. This book is not worth the paper on which it was written.
