Works great right of the box on my ASUS Vivo Book 17. did not have to use adaptor plugs. Was not sure if the problem was with the plug on my cord or the port on my computer as if I wiggled and set the wire just right it would charge with my old charger until you bumped or moved the computer. This new charger solved my problem. Plugged the new charger in, moved the computer, shook the computer and it keeps charging. Great inexpensive fix without having to send the computer out to be evaluated or serviced. I would buy again and recommend buying this before sending your computer out for an expensive repair if you have the problem not charging or you have to wiggle the cord to make yours work. The cord looks heavier duty than the one that came with my computer.

Item was delivered a day ahead of schedule which is really cool. As soon as I opened it up and tried it the first two didn't fit I was starting to worry and think I bought the wrong one then, the third one was defo a charm* I'm not computer savvy but, I do tend to have moments and when I do it's an awesome thing for me. Fits great, works superb, charges likes it's supposed to. More durable than the one I used to have, so happy that it's compatible for my lap top* Thanks a bunch!* Means lots to be able to find this here.

EDIT: I take back what I said before, this charger doesn't charge at all! At least not anymore. No matter what outlet I put the charger in it refuses to charge my laptop. I know that it's connected because the blue light on the cube of the charge is glowing but it still won't charge my laptop. This was a waste of my money. I had lost my original charger for my laptop and bought this one to replace it. It looked exactly like the one I had before and it was for the same type of laptop. When I got it, I had a feeling something was off with the charger because there were some differences between this one and the one I originally had. When I first plugged the laptop in, it seemed like it fit which made me think that it was fine. Then I turned my laptop to the side and it popped out. The charger is just slightly smaller than the plug in on my laptop but it still charges my laptop so I thought no big deal. It wasn't until I moved my laptop around that I realized the charger on charges my laptop at certain angles. Cause it's not an exact fit, it disconnects I guess and won't charge. Right now I have to wrap the wire around my laptop so that it can charge.

Just get this one. Don't waste your time with the others

Before buying I compare the voltage, watts and amps with the old one. It works great.
