BBQ Grill Gloves 1472℉ （Red）

I bought these as a present for myself after buying a new smoker. They work great and allow me to put on or take off grates, etc on a very hot grill without fear or issue. I find myself using inside as well very often which I didn't expect. My regular potholders have found themselves in deep storage. One caution. As other reviewers have noted, these gloves are one size fits all and are pretty big. My wife can't use these at all and they are big on me but it doesn't affect functionality. If a perfect fit on an average hand is important to you, these may not do the trick. For me, they are more than fine.

Needed to replace my “pit mitts” I’ve had for years. These seem a little thicker and fit well ( I generally wear men’s medium size gloves). So far no issue with normal cooking use. Would recommended as affordable and functional. No surprises which is what you want for something to protect your hands!

Compared to my EGG Mitts ($50/pair), which have the same design of silicone pads, aramid glove material, and inner cotton for comfort, these are slightly thinner with less protective material overall. Moreover, they are oversized: even large hands might have extra room around the fingers, and people with small hands might find them difficult to work with. However, the gloves are still sturdily built. In my test, which involved removing a cast iron Dutch oven from 480-degree heat with only the gloves as protection, I did not initially feel the heat from the Dutch oven. The heat protection is adequate for quick exposure to high temperatures. At less than one-quarter of the price of branded competitors, these gloves offer good heat protection and are an excellent value. I would recommend them for anyone who enjoys outdoor grilling, or for day-to-day oven cooking.

Gloves are definitely cost efficient and Truth be told be told they are very much heat resistance my husband is an advit smoker and griller and he loves these gloves saying that they are excellent quality. Gloves are heat resistant, they fit well.

Well made, work nicely over a high temperature from the grill, they do retain the heat so be careful they do heat up after while in direct heat. I would recommend for anyone cooking on girls like Big Green Egg or Kamadoe Joe

Just the right glove for the egg. Everything about the gg is extremely hot. These gloves allow you to touch every surface and catch a falling mistake all in one move. Only caution, Don’t put a wet hand in the glove or let them get wet. The steam will get you quick!

I have been barbecuing for almost 15 years now... tried different kinds of gloves. This is probably the best purchase i have made so far. My requirements were to buy a glove that could handle high temperatures with a good fit. When it arrived it fitted like a T. I got a chance to test the temps when I grilled my first brisket after a few days. Very happy with my purchase. Highly recommended 👍

I purchased these to wear as I moved cooking containers and meats on my grill. I normally just used heavy league but thought I'd give these a go! Obviously they work great moving meats on the grill. The first metal container I touched to move, melted the gloves! I think I'm going back to leather gloves.

They fit nicely so that when removing cooked products you have a good grip on things without burning your hands !!
