Samsung Galaxy Buds SM-R170 True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds (Black)

My first pair looked brand new but the functionality was poor. The buds didn't last even an half hour. The left bud died in 10min and the right in 20min. I sent them back and ask for a refund but they shipped me a new pair. The new pair were obviously used and damaged but I didn't buy them for the look. They work 👌🏾 perfectly. Honestly I think these were samsungs best earbuds. They always get it at first but try to keep up with the competition and miss and there new products. These with my galaxy S10 plus was amazing. Probably the best phone and earbuds they ever made hand down. Thank you, fast shipping, 2 days more like a day and a half lol. Would recommend and buy again and again

My first set of ear buds of any type and I am quite pleased. Got last year's model, used, but in good condition and very happy with them. The fit is good out of the box for me, but still comes with alternate fitting pieces and extra ear cone tips. Sound is very good, and the app gives you some equalizer control to fit your preferred sound envelope with several selections of presets.

Overall, I was unsure of what wireless headphones to get since reviews on other ones would be overly good or bad and I had never bought any before. So after researching different ones, I decided on these ones and was not disappointed at all. With these, they paired perfectly with my Samsung S8 with little to no effort. They charge very quickly and have a very long battery life. So far I've gone at least 8 hours until the battery even gets to a low enough for me to think about changing it soon. Sound quality is not the best, but it is still very good. On my phone, the sound had been considerably low when talking into it directly, so having headphones was necessary for me (also since its not stated anywhere, these do have a microphone). These do cancel out background noise very well, but for some things, even with the volume at the highest setting, it can still be slightly lower than I would like but still not bad. If you're looking for ones for music, these would work fine but there are probably better ones out there. They stay in your ear very well, and come with different size wings if you need to switch to a smaller or bigger size for them to fit more comfortably. I have no worries about them falling out and feel like they would be good if you were thinking of getting these for the gym or other outdoor activities. The only thing I dislike is that it seems these particular headphones are only able to pair to other Samsung devices. They were not compatible with my PS4 like I hoped they would be.

I was a bit late hopping on the wireless earbud trend, but I finally bought these and am overall pleased with these Samsung Wireless Earbuds. The sound quality is superb and the battery life is pretty good - you don't need to charge them after every use since they charge when you close the case, unless you're using them for long periods of time. I like that they automatically connect to the bluetooth on my phone when I open the case. These are extremely convenient for when I workout and listen to my podcasts, without the hassle of the typical wired earbuds. Being able to pause my music/podcast remotely is a feature that I am loving. The only downside I've experienced with these are that when I wear them for too long they tend to hurt the part of my ears that hold them. They are noticeably bigger than regular earbuds, and understandably so with all the capabilities it has, but unlike regular earbuds I prefer not to wear them to sleep in. Overall, I consider this a worthy investment and would recommend to Samsung fans like myself and anyone looking for some quality wireless earbuds.

Defective product. Purchased a replacement for my original buds after they finally kicked the bucket. Returned them because one bud would not charge at all and the other could not hold a charge. They sent a replacement, and it also does not work. Buds go from 100% to dead in about 40 minutes. Completely worthless for the price. I have no idea what went wrong here, I never had an issue like this with my old pair. Going to have to pull these apart myself to fix as it's likely an issue with the charger or the batteries in the bud themselves. I do not trust them to send a working pair after receiving two defective pairs in a row. Spend your money elsewhere!

If you like to switch your electronic device every couple of years, then do not buy these. They will completely foil your plans. I have beat on them since 2020 and they still work excellently. As some examples, I have dropped them on the parking lot numerous times, I have worn them in 40 degrees below zero, I have dropped them in a tub full of water, I have dropped them in a sink full of water (more than once), and most recently I sent them through the washing machine. Nothing stops them. They are the unstoppable force that defeated the immovable object. They still work like the day I purchased them. I only wish I had not thrown away the replacement rubber, since that will likely wear out before the mechanical/electronic functionality.

Update! June 21,2024.These buds still work perfectly fine. The charge as if new to this day and audio is excellent. I do clean them from time to time as per any audio device. Bought these as a Father's Day present and my husband absolutely loves them. Great noise quality, comfortable and very affordable, he connects them to his Galaxy 9 and listens to his favorite anime. Also I received them earlier than expected, definitely looking forward to purchase one for myself

I have tried and tested a few of these in ear phones... Bose (too big), Jabra (too uncomfortable) and most recently Sony which I really liked but unfortunately lost, so decided to take a punt on these. Glad I did. Best ones I have had to date. Sound is very good, and seem to have the best noise cancelling of the ones I have tried, but I suspect thats just because they fit so snuggly in your ear. Ideal for me straight out of the box, but there are the usual assorted sized buds and wing tips with these to suit all. They also do not protrude from the ears by much at all, and no signs of bright LEDs etc which I liked. The first thing that struck me was how light they were. Hardly even know you have them in. I was a bit dubious about the 'touch' control, as when I used the Jabras with this, it led to making them uncomfortable to wear as you were basically poking them into your ear, but these are more like gesture rather than touch control - barely need to touch the bud at all. Skip forfard, back, pause etc all with one or two touches, but I really liked the customisable 'long hold' touch control which I have configured as volume - up with the right ear, down with the left. Haven't run the battery right down yet, but the claim of 6 hours looks legitimate as I used them for 3-4 hours and was just under the 50% charge a couple of times. Have used these for around 12 hours I guess so far and I havent had a drop out once. Not a single flicker. This certainly wasnt the case on the Jabra's and Sony's I had before which frequently dropped one ear out. The carry case is tiny and the buds are held in magnetically which is good. The Wearable app works great on my Android (not a Samsung). As I said, was a bit skeptical as the reviews seemed a bit mixed, but would highly recommend these for anyone after a solid pair of wireless ear buds.

Habe Bose, Sony und Samsung verglichen. Samsung sind die besten. Halten gut im Ohr, sitzen perfekt. Die anderen waren mal zu groß, mal zu schwer und fielen schnell raus. Der Klang ist sehr gut. Praktisch ist auch, dass ich in voller Lautstärke Musik hören kann, ohne dass der Sitznachbar es hört, was bei den anderen Marken nicht so gut war; da ist es eher störend, wenn jemand Musik laut hört.

N'écoutez pas les avis français, vraiment, j'ai regardé des avis sur des chaines américaines et ils ont très bien notés ces écouteurs, il suffit de savoir les configurer et d'utiliser les bon embouts. Côté audio, il n'y à pas d'absence de basses, une fois les écouteurs mis à jour, et en utilisant l'application Samsung Wearable, les basses sont bien présentes, rappelez-vous que ce sont des écouteurs intra-auriculaires, et il faut vraiment le bon embout pour profiter un maximum des écouteurs. Pour faire bref, le son est un peu de meilleure qualité que les écouteurs AKG Fournis avec les nouveaux téléphones Samsung. Autant dire que c'est déjà très bien, les médiums et les aigus sont très bien gérés. Côté design, j'ai pris la version noir, c'est très discret, très petit et ça rentre partout, les écouteurs sont bien finis. Côté autonomie, j'apprécie vraiment l'autonomie des écouteurs, ça dure longtemps et on peux les recharger un peu plus d'une fois avec la boite, et c'est là le seul côté négatif! La boite peux recharger 1,5x les écouteurs seulement! Si vous êtes un grand audiophile et que vous écoutez de la musique pratiquement tout le temps, la boite et les écouteurs vous feront une journée. Côté immersion, la réduction de bruit passive est parfaite, on entends absolument rien! De quoi bien être isolé. Avec l'application on peux activer une sorte de restitution audio via les deux micros de chaque écouteurs, lorsque je laisse le doigt appuyé sur le pavé tactile d'un écouteur, ça active la restitution audio et j'ai pas besoin d'enlever les écouteurs quand quelqu'un veux me parler, on peux aussi le laisser constamment actif en baissant le volume, pour écouter la circulation dans la rue pour un peu plus de "sécurité", cela ne baisse pas la qualité audio mais certains peuvent ce sentir déranger d'entendre le son de dehors.
