Basic, but functional
Some images of this product appear on the internet showing "Neutrik" XLR connectors. Note that this product offering does not claim Neutrik connectors. The unit I received sported only generic XLR's. If Neutriks had been utilized, the end product price would be a lot more than currently offered. Having clarified that, the components and assembly of this XLR switch are basic, but it will work fine in audiophile or even professional environments for casual, light duty applications. I used it for an A-B test of a new DAC vs. my previously utilized DAC. I felt there was some audio improvement with the new DAC but wanted to verify that in a matched-level A-B test. The switch box permits auditioning each sound with minimal delay for switching. Since the rotary switch on this box was reported to be the make-before-break type, I used only the "X" and "Z" inputs, so that the two DACs were always completely isolated from each other. Many other reviews, including a technical measurement review on a gear-oriented website, confirm that this box does not alter or detract from the sound. That also was my experience. Having completed my A-B test, this box will be handy to keep around for occasional future need.

convieniant for home studios!
I use this as a switch for 3 sets of XLR input pairs - 1 pair in an isolation booth, one on the DIs for my guitar rig, and one for some desk mounted mics for quick and dirty recordings, or pod casting. This is an awesome tool for switching. no noise, very little signal loss (depending on your cable lengths of course), 100% passive, so nothing to plug in other than your XLRs, and it just works! 5 stars

Unique and handy
Solves routing problems easily. Conveniently small and unobtrusive. Unique tool and this company makes the opposite. 1 in and three out. I’ve used twice so far on gigs. It is exactly what I needed and well manufactured. Contemplating buying the 1 in 3 out version too.

Quality product coming on a slow boat from China.
We'll made but not rugged. This does what it's supposed to without introducing interference or noise. The case is thin and the device is light but it shouldn't fall apart if you don't abuse it. I use it in my editing suite at home and has been used several times a day to switch between various near field monitors. The switches have held up well and the unit is generally solid. Anchoring it to a work surface will help it's stability. Even just putting a book on top will do that. Overall very pleased with this. A little sad that it's so difficult to find this sort of gear made in the US but such is life. Keep that in mind because shipping can take weeks from China. They originally gave me a lead time of two to three months. Luckily it showed up in just over a month.

Simple and Effective Device, Crystal Clean Signal, Works With Phantom Power
This little box works exactly as well as you're hoping it does. Audio (and phantom power) passes through it very cleanly, without any distortion, coloration, or signal loss at all. My studio is close to some radio towers (I can hear NPR clearly through some of my guitar pedals), but this device does not seem to be at all susceptible to RFI, which was a huge relief. I tested it between a stereo pair of Neumann KM 184s and an Apollo Twin interface, and it sounded absolutely identical to running the mics directly into the Apollo Twin. The other source I tried (analog synths and a drum machine through a Mackie mixer into the switching box and then into the Apollo Twin) sounded perfect too. In case you're wondering why it looks a little different in my picture, I used gaffer's tape and a Sharpie to make the design even more minimalist.

Does the job transparently
Excellent Product. I'm using it to run my audio production setup and my hifi/listening setup out to one pair of active monitors. I notice no noise or signal degradation at all in my particular case. My one and only gripe is the weight of the product; it's very light, and if you're using very heavy XLR cables it will tilt backwards slightly, though I'm not deducting any stars for that as it doesn't effect functionality.

Solves my use case perfectly
I have been looking for a long time for a passive XLR switcher that would enable me to switch between pairs of mics. I wanted something passive that was simply going to route signal and not interfere with tone. I don't need faders and gain buffers. This box solve my use case perfectly. It has a two-piece aluminum shell. The top can be removed easily. This allowed me to drill two small holes and mount under my workstation. I then made a cheat card that I laminated and taped to my audio interface. This has allowed me to be more efficient in my workflows. I think it's going to save my cables over the long term, since I'm not pulling on them all the time.

Finally a solution -- 3 XLR sources to 1 set of XLR powered speakerrs
After upgrading a pair of powered studio monitors (Dynaudio BM5A) which only have balanced XLR inputs (which are better than RCA ports, which are unbalanced), I wanted to connect multiple sources to them but couldn't find any solution. There are many options that provide a single source connected to multiple monitors, but not multiple sources to a single set of monitors -- until I finally found this device. I now have it connected to a Pioneer FM tuner, an OPPO disk player, and a Logitech Bluetooth receiver (I used RCA to XLR cables for the tuner and the Bluetooth receiver, and Mogami XLR cables that I already had for the disk player). Selecting the different sources is very simple, and the sound quality is very good (although I use this system only for background music, so I confess haven't listened to it very closely). In short, this is a great tool for my need. At minimum, if you think it might be a good choice for you, it's worth a try -- you can always return it within 30 days if it's not as good as you had hoped.

Ja wykorzystuje do niej beluga dwóch zespołów na salce prób. Dwa różne miksery podłączone pod jeden zestaw nagłośnieniowy dzięki temu urządzeniu. Wygląda porządnie. Działa też bez zarzutu.

Long story short, I wanted to get this product (and I still do). Trouble is that instead of 3-in-1out, I kept getting 3-out-1in. Not once, not twice, not three times, but FOUR times in a row. Customer Service at Amazon India was empathetic but unhelpful in helping me get the right product. The seller Douk India is unresponsive to messages. There is something broken in the Amazon CS system. But does anybody care to fix it? Nah!
