Do the kids like to paint?
These are so much cheaper than the $3 tiny bottles at the big craft store, and the paint is high quality. Colors are vivid, and the paint washes easily out of brushes with water. We still buy the small bottles for specialty colors, but for the standard rainbow, 16oz bottles are a great deal. We are careful to keep the caps closed, and our last purchase of these 2 years ago were good to the last drop. Best wishes

Awesome buy.
Great buy. Originally purchased to use with making homemade chalk and worked perfectly for that. Had tons of left over and it's become the go to paint for all out crafts. Washes easily and bright bold awesome colors. Really can't go wrong if you're not looking for professional grade paints and just good quailty, good price craft paint for adults or kids.

I hated them, though
I have five kids and we go through a LOT of paint! Up until a week ago I always bought smaller containers of paint that you can get at a store. I hated them, though, because they didn't have a squeeze top so I had to dump the paint onto a tray or plate for my kids to use. A luxury problem of course, but it was annoying when the paint was half way gone or more to tap, tap, tap the paint bottle against the tray and nothing would come out and so tap, tap, tap (gentle tapping) again until PLOP! A huge blob of paint comes out at once. At least double what I wanted to pour out. Frustrating because then that extra paint was just wasted! That is the whole reason I went in search of squeeze top paints. Lastly, the color and texture and thickness of this paint is wonderful. Exactly what you want for elementary aged kids' art time. The colors are nice and vibrant and it's not too watery so it doesn't just soak through a paper.

Great quality. Very thick concentrated paint.
These were perfect for my daughters 16th "paint balloon fight" party. They are very thick paints so I added water to each of them to make them go farther. These paints do have a very strong smell. And they did stain the kids clothes. Which was ok with us, but just know it's washable from your skin, not clothes. Careful not to get here paints on your face as they did burn several kids skin when they wiped their faces with paint on their hands.

Good paint for kids
These are nice kids' paints. There's a good range of colors, and you can mix them to get other colors. The paint is smooth, and the squeeze-tips are really nice. The bottles are large and heavy, so you'll have to squeeze out the paint for your smaller kids, unless you want paint everywhere. They do have a light odor -- it smells like lotion or sunscreen to me -- but nothing overpowering or obnoxious (and I'm sensitive to smells, so I would notice). Interestingly enough, they are more washable from clothing than from skin. You have to scrub a bit (or use baby wipes) to get the paint off skin -- it's not a big deal, but don't expect to be able to get the paint off skin with just a wet paper towel. Overall, I am very pleased with these paints, and I love the huge bottles. Yes, it's a bit expensive up front, but this set should last my daughter a long, long time.

My Kindergarten Art Class Loves the Colors
Crayola does a great job with tempera paints. Good viscosity. Good pigmentation. Other brands, will separate but not Crayola. Tempera washes out from clothes, skin and furniture 10X better than acrylic paint, too. It's a much better value to purchase a set of 12 first. Afterwards, you can supplement with single colors as the year progresses. Mostly, the white.

Picky mom loves these for frequent painting!
We go through so much paint and these, while a lot of space to store, are the best value and quality we've enjoyed so far. The colors are vibrant, the paint flows nicely, the caps are sturdy and have not broken, the bottles are easy for me to squeeze into egg crate cups for toddler use. If you have even just one little artist who paints almost daily, you will save a lot of $ and be very happy with these.

Love them
Huge fan of crayons products. These paints don’t disappoint. If you’re looking for the coverage like an acrylic can provide but something that’s safe for your kids and washable, buy this paint. My only dislike about buying them on amazon was two or three of the colors were quite a bit thick meaning these paints or colors were a little on the old side. Make sure you give them a good shake prior to use.
