Great sturdy staple remover for paper. I love this remover because the staples stay in it until you eject them so they don’t get all over your desk or the floor. It’s easy to hold and makes the job of removing staples quick and easy.

Easy to use

I found it difficult to get under staples, so I used a grinder to sharpen the point so it could easily get under staples. Now it works quite well.

With a built in magnet for easy cleanup, this staple remover also features a slide switch enabling it to discharge removed staples in an effortless manner. Truly, this is the Cadillac of staple removers. I purchased this staple remover expecting the high level of quality that I have come to expect from the Swingline company as I realized after watching a Walking Dead episode that I may need a staple remover if the Zombie Apocalypse is ever realized. I felt that eventually I may need to post "Have You Seen" posters or "Missing posters" or even a "Sanctuary found here" poster. Whether it is the Zombie Apocalypse or simply listing a garage sale notification, eventually the signs need to come down. It is only courteous during the day of the dead to leave accurate information. If a sign needs to come down, I trust the Swingline Ultimate Staple Remover to see me during my time of struggle and make the removal of staples from my signs just a little easier during the difficult time of the upcoming Zombie Apocalypse.

I've been using this model for years; I splurged on a new one with my new Swingline stapler. The metal piece easily fits under the staple, the sliding plastic part helps to dislodge it, and the magnet holds onto it until you can dispose of it. I'm surprised more companies haven't adopted this design. When you deal with as much paper as I do, you get excited when office supplies make your job easier!

Not easy to use on normal length staples. Does ok on the long ones

Sorry, I am used to the ones that everyone has pretended was a staple eating monster. Took a couple staples to figure out how to use it, no instructions. There is a button that slides forward. Why is that there? Is it needed to remove staples? Instructions (that I guessed at and seem to work): 1. Cram metal piece under staple 2. Hold down paper, and press down on handle towards paper with staple. Use on a table, or something, don't be weird. 3. Staple removed. 4 (optional). If staple is jammed all up in the remover, use the button to push it out. 5. Go get some of your favorite food to celebrate your victory over that staple! Side note: I typed staple so much that it looks wrong now. But no red squiggles under it. Must be good. Anyways, why are you reading reviews on a staple remover?

I work in a automotive service department and I constantly have to remove staples and scan repair orders. This staple remover is a great tool and saves time and time is money. Well made product. Highly recommend!

Soy maestra y lo adquirí para sacar las grapas que el profesor anterior había dejado por toda la pared de mi clase. Lo esperaba expectante porque había leído muy buenas opiniones en webs de educación americanas, pero tras usarlo 5 minutos me di cuenta de mi error. La idea del iman para sujetar las grapas está muy bien, el problema es que es tan frágil que las grapas no llegan a salir, y la parte metálica que se mete por debajo de la grapa se dobló tras el tercer intento. Debe ser que en USA sólo lo usan en sus bulletin boards, tableros de corcho, pero para la pared, completamente inservible.

Excelente quita grapas, parece frágil pero aguanta Además lo que me gustó es que tiene imán en la parte de abajo que hace mas fácil recoger todas las grapas

La espátula que tiene para quitar las grapas es un poco frágil, se batalla un poco para quitar las grapas gruesas, ya que no se puede ejercer mucha fuerza con el quita grapas.
