CCNP and CCIE Data Center Core DCCOR 350-601 Official Cert Guide

Taking the exam soon, a lot of information here. I imagine the exam will be broad as well as deep. Now on to the practice tests and flashcards.

There is abundance of information provided. So little time to read

Great Book :)

I'm very impressed with the organization and the sequence of the topics in the book. I'm primarily using this book for design and optimization. Due to a project I'm working on, I have thoroughly gone through Chapters 3, 4, 6, 12, and 13. I found everything I'm looking for and with the right amount of detail in one place. The Security chapters seem to be well written and organized and they will be my next target. .... Well Done!!

This book covers everything Cisco technologies related to the Data Center. A lot of examples articulate the tools and utilities such as UCS Manager, UCS Director, and more. They are very helpful.

Page 99: 10 + 15 = 35 seconds. The errata for this book is 99 pages long. I expect a technical book of this size to have some mistakes. That's unavoidable. But a lot of what I've seen so far suggests that no one read or double-checked anything for accuracy. I'm not sure how else to explain all the errors in the examples. I was initially really confused when I tried to follow along and recreate the examples in GNS3 so I finally went looking for the errata and then everything made sense. I'm still giving the book 3 stars because it does have a lot of great information and Chapter 7 was helpful for passing the DCSAN exam. I just wish the book didn't have so many errors. It also seems like they copy and paste a lot from Cisco white papers and don't necessarily make any effort to explain or improve upon what they copied.

E' difficile recensire correttamente questa guida, si percepisce nettamente la scrittura a quattro mani degli autori. Alcuni temi e capitoli sono trattati in maniera chiara, efficace, con esempi calzanti e facilmente comprensibili. Altre tematiche sono trattate con superficialità, in maniera confusa, poco organizzata. Molti degli esempi non sono illustrati con la dovuta chiarezza. Gli autori in alcuni casi si soffermano a lungo ed in maniera ripetitiva ma sempre poco chiara e decontestualizzata, su argomenti cardine del percorso formativo. Non lo consiglierei
