These were a great birthday bag add on. They are good quality. The ends pop off with an elastic connecting them so you can perform a "floating" wand trick though there is no directions for this trick. The kids liked them and even with a little ruff housing they still held up.

Great gift for children. Durable enough for children’s play. Put in children’s gift bags for 4 yo birthday party.

Cute for themed parties but kind of a waste of money for what they are. More of a one time use type thing. Might be better suited for older kids performing magic. Not necessarily best use for kids bday party treat. Functionality is fine based on marketing and what we expected. Better value than other items available on market. Easy to hold and use in general for the right person. Weight is light.

I am a professional magician - “Merlin the Magician” in the Vancouver BC area, and perform at many children’s birthday parties. As part of my package deal, the birthday boy or girl receives a Wizard hat and magic wand. What is not advertised is that the wand can also be used for a magic trick (the button ends are held together by an elastic running down the middle). If you pull one of the end buttons and stretch it up to the middle of the wand and release it slowly, you can do the “rising wand” trick. I print out instructions to go with the wand, so they get a magic trick along with the wand at no extra expense! Other sites sell the wand as a trick separately for more money, so this is a pretty good deal for a giveaway item. I can also buy a few dozen as I need them and have them delivered in only a few days. I have given away well over 100 wands just this year alone!

I ordered these for my cub scouts to earn an adventure belt loop. They had to put on a magic show - the thought was there but more than half were broken or came apart too easy for little hands. Unfortunately returning. We ended up improvising and using sticks lol
