Very good quality and genuine borosilicate glass. The big advantages of this over Tupperware style containers is that they are safe as they do not leach chemicals into food (especially at high temperatures), and they are great for reheating food in the microwave straight from the fridge/freezer whereas even microwave-safe plastic containers get damaged when oily food is heated. They can even be used in the regular oven. The glass is extremely temperature stable and solid, and easy to clean as well. The containers look presentable enough to be used directly as serving bowls on the dining table too, which is great. Always remember to remove the lid before heating though!

Must have in kitchen for storing, heating, serving food.
Seal well, keeps food fresh, good quality. We use it oven and micorwave for heating without the lid.

The clips do not close on one side

It is a waste of money. The lid has an awkward design, is inaccurate, and can't fit properly over the container, so I've never been able to make the container airtight.
