Easy to set combo, easy to lock and unlock, good visibility on the numbers, and seems to be pretty stout. Would buy again.

This so far has been a good lock. Itvwas a bit tricky to set up our code but we got it. I wish now I had ordered one with a longer hook but it is easy to use one hand to set the code. I like it’s on the side to see it better.

It is not hard to understand why these padlocks are an Amazon Best Seller. Beautifully designed, rugged construction and highly functional... and at an outstanding price. Buy with confidence; you will be so glad you did. Update: I reduced my rating from 5-stars down to 4-stars as in actual use I found the numbers hard to see and read, particularly in anything but direct light [lighting such as found in locker rooms]. Had I known this I probably would have continued shopping for something with numbers in more of a contrast. Other than that important issue, the product remains great.

Good locks for the price, my only gripe is you can't lock it if you don't have the correct code put in. I personally don't like leaving my lock with the code on it when I remove it, I prefer to mess it up after I unlock it and so I'm less worried about someone eyeing my code while it's laying around. I've only used it indoors so I can't attest to its weather resistance.

secure but also simple to open (no need to spin a dial). I also like that it's easy to change the combo. Makes it so that I can give the combo to someone so they can get into my locker and then change it once they no longer need in. I have had similar locks where it was to easy for the combo to change when it was open and i accidently changed the combo and had to cut it off. this one is easy but you still have to put pressure on the loop and hold it done in the change position when changing the code so its not gonna be changed randomly.

Bought for my kids' new school year. Much better and easier to open than the standard Stanley combo lock. Good value for price compare to other big box store.
