26231 Red 262 High-Strength Threadlocker, 1.69 fl. oz. Bottle

I use Red and Blue thread lock frequently. Loctite makes a great product that performs as advertised. The red is very secure and nuts/bolts treated with the blue can be more easily removed. I have two minor issues with the packaging. First, why doesn’t Loctite put the blue thread locker in a blue bottle? Be a lot easier to quickly identify the proper product and avoid errors. And why did Amazon cover the front label of the bottle with their (impossible to completely remove) label? Just wondering….. Otherwise, superior thread locker! Hope that helps.

262 is a high strength thread locker and works WELL. For parts that require disassembly with hand tools 242 is a better choice.

Use it on my 1976 wide glide..perfect.

Use the product to hold ATV bolts in place.

I haven't used it yet, but I can confirm that the bottle is half full. Whether the bottle is a 100ml with 50ml promised or if this is a 50ml bottle with only half inside. I have no way to measure, I can see it may be close to 1/4 cup... A cup being 250ml. I took off a star because it is bad business and bad for the environment to fake the size of content using a double sized, opaque bottle. You can't really see the contents unless you shine a light through it.
