My daughter had a developmental eval done where they needed to get and maintain her attention. For little ones these settings can be tough when you consider new people, new surroundings, and difficult requests. When I saw how much interest she showed so quickly I immediately had to have one! It's amazing! The batteries it came with lasted *maybe* two hours lol Nothing a screwdriver and 3 AA batteries couldn't fix! When I replaced the batteries, I saw the ones that had been in there weren't a name brand (or at least not one I recognized) Once I replaced the batteries, they've so far lasted 3 days - so I'd say, plan to replace them pretty early on ...but once you do, it's not like they'll drain that fast moving forward. The spinning of the star with lights causes a bit of vibration and sound - great for sensory input and development! She's also slightly teething and I've noticed she enjoys putting it against her gums as it's running. The first one I ordered came damaged. The way it appeared, it was damaged in transit - but the replacement was hassle free and shipment was prompt! Absolutely no complaints from me as far as that goes. Life happens and the way things were handled was exceptional. The absolute only downside I have is after about 5 to 10 minutes of use it tends to start warming up to the touch. So it's not going to be a toy I'd give her during something like say, a car ride, where it might be difficult to take back if it were getting too warm. We usually give it to her for a period of time then just check it to feel how warm it is and either turn it off or hold onto it for a bit before giving it back. She loves it though! When she saw me take it out of the box (she was busy at the time.and I thought I was being quiet lol) she screeched for joy and frantically started reaching for it from across the room lol she knew exactly what it was. She's extremely possessive when it comes to this wand and it's going to now be one of our big deal toys for muscle work and calming/distraction after immunizations. For the price, it's a steal. Even if I had to purchase one of these a month, it'd be a steal. I don't however think it's built for durability. I'd say, be prepared to replace *fairly* often. Maybe not once a month, but if you're using it daily like we do, maybe once every 2-3 months.

Great for a young child or my Autistic grandchild. It was a BIG hit & child loved the lights. Really cute & got lots of smiles & hugs!! Great Value for the money. And so easy to use. Every child should have one !!!

Our 12-month old baby loved this toy more than any other in his first year! We gave it to him at nigh in his stroller and it fit his hand perfectly and was just the right weight for his age. He could bang it, put his mouth on it, and shake it with no damage to the wand. The LED colors are bright and entertaining. The movement is fun for little ones and provides a ready-made night light. We took the toy with us to the land of the mouse for an evening event. Instead of buying items in the park, we had a ready-made and affordable option instead. We love making our own magic to enhance the experience!

Kept my 18 month old son and 2 year old niece entertained on an airplane for hours! They both loved this thing. Unfortunately due to typical toddler use it’s already breaking after having it for 2 weeks now. I’m not shocked, my son throws this thing around all the time. The button to turn it on works 1/2 the time and sometimes the toy will turn on just by brushing up against the button. So, if you’re buying this for a child under 4 don’t expect it to last long, that being said I’d still buy it again 😂

Great toy for young babies to get them to look around and keep them occupied while doing tummy time or learning to sit. Captures their attention and helps them work on head and neck control. This was a recommendation from NICU nurses after first kid and even helped with our second kid!

Fun product but very easily broken. I actually bought it twice for my four year old. Thought the first break was a fluke. It didn’t last as long the second time around, so it’s just not good quality/long lasting. A simple drop or hard shake and it’s done—like a dollar store product.

Super Cute! My toddler has autism as this toy was SUCH a good idea for his sensory stims! the spinning center moves super quick so it creates a vibration for the whole toy, and the lights are super bright and vibrant. 100% will order another if my son breaks it! It's about the size of a tall soda can, so it's perfect for his little hands. He's played with it for hours on end, the batteries that came with it have lasted for 2 weeks of continuous use pretty much. It's light and easy for a toddler to carry around. highly recommend for parents that have kiddos with sensory stims.

We bought this for our two year old grand daughter as one of many other Christmas gifts. It worked quite well at the beginning, but after a while it gets off kilter and doesn't spin right, then quit working. We messed around with it and took the batteries out and replaced them, and it would not work, then after messing with it, it started working again, but is cheaply made and I am not confident at all that it will continue working for an extended period.

My 2 year old was born with cataracts so has issues with sight and this is a fantastic toy for him. Works well. Batteries last ages as it’s often left of for long periods of time.

Received this literally 30 minutes before this negative review. Already started the return process. Item did not work at all. I always have fresh batteries at home (with battery testers) and the item is dead on arrival. Extremely poor build quality like most of ‘Made in China’ stuff on Amazon now. I bought this for a photography project, if you’re buying this as a toy For child PLEASE DO NOT! This will break in child’s hands and they could get injured.
