What more of a review do ya need other than the name Flowmaster?! The name is synonymous with quality, durability, dependability, performance, sexy and LOUD AF!! This one has a very loud cold start and @mid to high rpm but reasonable at idle and low rpm. You might only drive your neighbors nuts at the cold start for 5 minutes but it calms down as it warms. It's a Flowmaster so no worries about fit or quality. You get what the business has bled for, amazing performance! Best bang for your buck! No red woodpeckers can match the sound of a 2 chamber 10 series! Also I side exited my 2011 Silverado with a hole made 3" catback using this 3" single in 3" single out FM 10 series. Oh boy does it sound great! And stickers of course are on the truck and toolbox!

Loud enough to raise the dead

Over the years I have tried many exhaust brands out there and always come back to Flowmaster. I like the traditional "flowmaster sound", deep and aggressive so my favorite has always been the original 40 series. I tried a 10 series for the first time last year on my Dakota R/T and was impressed. This time the application was for my 03 Suburban 5.3 with cats. I heard an identical truck with super 40 and no cats and loved the sound and at first wanted to do the same but instead decided to keep the cats and install a 3 inch (in and out center/center) 10 series and WOW ! I absolutely made the right choice ! Of my many vehicles I can say this is my favorite exhaust set up ! Very deep aggressive tone and very noticeable inside the truck but not so loud that you can't hold a conversation and the sound is GREAT! If you are looking for the very best of the iconic "Flowmaster sound" and are torn between 40, super 40, super 44 or 10, I ASSURE you from someone with years of exhaust and Flowmaster trials the 10 series is what you want! And it's not obnoxious in its sound level . It is definitely loud but even my fiancé loves it and loves driving it. If you have a similar truck I also suggest the Spectre cold air intake kit. It's the best $150 you'll spend and the two go well together . Your truck will exhale freely with the 10 series and should be made to inhale just as freely . Both of these together made a VERY noticeable HD gain , increased throttle response and even noticeable MPG increase! (Yes even a Suburban!). And the CAI actually does make the exhaust note slightly deeper. Stop reading reviews and watching youtube videos and get it right now ! You will not be disappointed (speaking for V8 applications )

Been running Magnaflow since new(2020 Classic 1500 5.7 ram hemi) I’m going to say the Magnaflow 3” in 2.5” out duals sounded clean, definitely an exhaust that you’d want if your not into more gnarly sound, I liked it. BUT, this series 10 on the same truck is night and day! The growl at even mid throttle is to die for. Open her wide up and watch everyone look. Hiway cruise she purrs and zero drone. Slightly louder in cab then Magnaflow, nothing serious. At idle it’s slightly meaner as well. But gawd, that 1-2 gear shift punch at 50% or more throttle off a light is so deadly. 2 thumbs up here! If you like the muscle car growl this is the muffler for you! Side note, if you have the muffler back kit from Magnaflow, you’ll need a 24” 3” pipe to extend to this unit, I only had a 18” so I had to do some finesse welding for that with old pipe, and the 2.5” outlet is to ID and so were the original magna tail pipes, I had to cut off the old muffler and weld in some that were 2.5” OD so I could clamp it.

Quality isnt cheap, you gotta pay for the good stuff and this product is absolutely amazing. Id give it a 50 out of 10. Amazing quality product and sounds incredible too. If i could id give it 10 starts and not 5
