Logisys 12" 18 Red LED Super Bright Sunlight Stick

The new RGB motion lighting is cool and all, but this is reliable 10-year old technology if you don't want to mess around with motherboard headers / connectors. Just plug into a 4-pin Molex power connector and you're good to go. Super bright! LEDs are spaced about 1/4 inch apart and visible, so usually a good idea to hide this around a corner as that's not the best "raw" look. I got the red one. You can't change the colors, but if that's your drawback, then go buy a set of new addressable RGB LEDs....

Excellent product. But very slow shipping from this vendor. That is why the 4 star. The product is a 5 star all the way. I'd suggest buying it from a different company.But check my before and after photos. They are awesome!!!Not sure why the pictures were rotated sideways?Other people said this also in reviews but I will add it also. Purchase better double sided tape. The velcro included is very bad and doesn't last more than a few days. Buy 3M or Scotch double sided tape and you will be happy. The lights are still great, they are a 5 star all the way, I gave a 4 because of very slow shipping by the vendor.

I have a case with a full clear window and this one light showcase the entire interior. I tried it in the bottom first, but in that position, my full size video card blocked most of the light so the upper half of the case was in the dark. I found it works best placed in a vertical position with the top resting next to my upper rear fan, while the bottom is next to my PSU.These are LED's so will last a long time. They come with 2 sets of velcro pads with self stick adhesive. These are a little less than 1/2" square and attach the the square plastic ends of the tube. The remainder of the tube is cylindrical.

The light bar felt solid and was pretty easy to install. I plugged it in and then tried it out in a few different places in my case before committing to applying the velcro swabs. I like that you can rotate the bar (tube I suppose) to direct the light, otherwise you would have very sharp light when looking at the bulbs. The light bleeds nicely at a wide angle. I plan on buying another one because when I was trying out difference spots in my case, I had a hard time deciding between two nice spots. My conclusion was I'd buy another and have the lights in both spots. The red one looked like lava in the bottom of my case, which was pretty sweet looking.

Overall I was pleased with these light sticks. It does a fine job of lighting and was very easy to install. It is red and not some faded shade of red even though the picture of it here looks like a sunburnt orange to me. Since it uses velcro to make the attachments on the ends plan ahead and make certain the areas are clean and the pads are well secured both on the comp. case and the ends of the light stick.I bought 2 of these and mounted them top and bottom tucked away out of direct view.Along with red LED fans and red LED power supply my case looks great.

I bought two of these to light up my fairly large case (HAF-X). These were so bright I only needed one. Sometimes with these "red" LEDs, the brighter they get, the more orange they get. This is not the case here. The LEDs are bright enough that I can see all my components and wiring but not too bright that it keeps me up at night.One thing to consider, the included velcro strips are garbage. Do yourself a favor and pick up a roll of 3M Velcro tape to attach these. You will find many other uses for it as well.

Super brightRed! not "pink" or "that could be pink"Going strong for over a year now with no problems. They will ruin the appearance of some liquid cooling tubing though depending on the materialPicture color isn't very accurate but its more red than orange and the background is still black with a red tint not neon red lolThe top view is the most accurate color representation. And I am using one on top and one on bottom.

This thing is long and bright...too bright for my rig. SO I slapped it in my moms office build. I've had it for over 2 years. Bright is the only definition for this LED bar. Just think of retina burning brightness. So bright that you may have to see the optometrist should you stare directly at it. That brightness though.
