Impervious to most everything
I am making embroidered reusable gift bags with this product. It doesn't ravel, has more body than regular fabric, is the same on both sides. It is made out of plastic, I'm hoping its recycled. I put organza on top of it to make it super pretty. Very easy to sew with, but DONT iron it, it will melt.

Payless for a material that will let you make cushion and meet other needs for weather resistant projects.
I needed to build a not so complicated temporary cover for our hot tub and I bought two of these bolts one in black and one in red. None of the kids or my husband believed that I knew what I was doing and they questioned my IQ. The absolutely did not believe me when I said it was water proof. I even doubted my knowledge when I got it in but I had used this before and knew it would do what I needed. I absolutely bought to much and I am planning on doing something else with it and I hope I can share pictures.Out door fabrics that are weather resistant can be extremely expensive. This closes the gap when you might not have the money to go buy all new outdoor cushions or you want to add some accent pillows to your outdoor lounging areas.

Fab for mask and filter making
This is for use making homemade masks for donation, for making ties for masks, and for cutting into replaceable filters. It's the perfect thickness, water resistant, very smooth against the face, and it sews up easily. Can iron if you use a pressing cloth at medium temp, and it will hold a crease. Totes recommend :)

Easy To Sew With No Raveling
This is the same fabric as the bags the supermarket sells are made from. It is easy to sew and doesn't ravel so no seam finishes are necessary. I used it to sew oversized grocery bags that are much easier to pack than the smaller ones from the supermarket. No lining was necessary but I did include a small 7/8" wide strip of interfacing inside the top hem to allow the bags to stay open better when packing them. I used the fabric to make handles by folding a strip in half and then tucking the ends into the center fold making the handle 4 thicknesses of fabric. They are really strong! To support the groceries I used sheets of plastic needlepoint canvas and find it works great. A big plus is that the plastic canvas is washable if something drips on it. The fabric can be wiped clean with a soapy sponge - it is not machine washable. The fabric comes neatly wrapped on a bolt and at 60" wide is enough to make a LOT of bags! There is no right or wrong side but one side is definitely shinier than the other. I found the bolt of fabric had some irregularities and thin spots but no actual holes. If not for that I would have given this 5 stars.

Perfect for what I needed
I used this material to make drawstring bags for Fall Festival. It was super easy to cut and sew. The bags were loaded with candy and given some pretty rough treatment by the kids throughout the evening, but they held up perfectly. This stuff is not like a clothing fabric... It reminds me of a collar/cuff interfacing or embroidery reinforcement... It's a great product and the price is even better.

Thin, but water resistant
It will be useful for an outdoor project, but is much thinner than expected...which is my bad. So instead of using for our original project, we will be making sleeves to protect some outdoor seat cushions for a planned trip to the beach this summer; may also cover our travel pillows. For reference the fabric is water resistant, but pretty lightweight, not sheer, but can be seen through. Over all it's a nice fabric, but what I was looking for.

I love this stuff!
I am using Oly Fun for a filtration layer in homemade masks. It is washable, breathable, and water-resistant. The water-resistant part is what prevents moisture laden droplets from soaking through your mask to your face. I love that it is easy to cut and sew and that it holds it's shape even after washing. I will just have to keep haunting different stores to find more Oly Fun.
