I ordered two of these despite the reviews about pieces being damaged upon arrival and the assembly reviews. They are just the style I was looking for and the best price I’ve seen. They came a few days late and one of them was damaged but I found the company’s help website on my Amazon orders page and was able to email the company about getting replacements. They emailed me back right away and shipped the replacement parts the next day. The parts came to my house two days later. I was really surprised they came that fast. I am very pleased with the customer service! My husband and I put these together and honestly it is not the easiest furniture we’ve ever assembled (and we’ve done A LOT of furniture assembling). There were pilot holes for the screws so we did need to use our drill but we did so VERY carefully and it turned out ok. The instructions don’t recommend using power tools because of how easy it would be to damage the pieces but without pilot holes we just couldn’t get it done without the drill. JUST BE SUPER CAREFUL! Once we got the first one put together the second one was super easy to do. Overall, I am VERY pleased with the look and quality of these bedside tables. I’m also more likely to shop from this manufacturer again as the customer service was excellent. Don’t expect these to come in perfect condition or to be a snap to put together. But don’t be afraid of them either! I’m very happy with my purchase!

I read and read and read the reviews on all the Walker Edison mid century furniture available on Amazon before purchasing an end table, a three drawer dresser, and a six drawer dresser. I also searched high and low for weeks for an affordable bedroom set through all carriers and brands and this was the best looking in my price range. The reviews did scare me but there were a few promising ones that finally convinced me to take the risk and here is what I learned. Overall these are great pieces! Sure they may take a little bit of time to assemble (we timed it, this piece took us 1.5 hours), but for the price, you are getting a lot of bang for your buck. My husband and I have hand crafted several dinning tables out of scratch so we know how tedious putting furniture together can be. As long as you make sure you have all the pieces and read the instructions front to back before assembling you will be fine. Three tips for assembly!!! 1. They say to put the back panel on waaaaay before you actually need to. We made the executive decision to put it on last which made it much easy to insert the drawer slides. 2. When you are inserting the dowels into the drawers that prevent them from falling out, put just the tip of the dowels in from the inside of the drawer, slide the drawer in halfway, then hammer the dowels in the rest of the way. If not you might get stumped. Hopefully that makes sense with the directions. 3. Some dowel holes are not big enough for the dowels. We had a drill bit that was the correct size so we just went back over all of the dowel holes before inserting them to prevent the pieces from splitting. WARNING: Do not force them in, they will split the wood!!!! In summary, FOR THE PRICE, you are getting a fantastic solid pine end table! It is absolutely gorgeous. Just don’t be rough with it and you’ll be fine and don’t let the other reviews scare you. :)

To put it plainly - I'm pretty picky when it comes to furniture. My father is a carpenter, as was my grandfather, and his father before him. In my last apartment I built most of my own furniture, but after moving across the country with only a few suitcases, I didn't have the luxury of time to rebuild things from scrap, and didn't have the space for it either. I purchased these nightstands because I wanted real wood - not Ikea junk - and in the end, I got what I wanted! Finding real wood products on Amazon is tough, but these seem to be the real deal. Solid, sturdy, and plenty of authentic wood grain and character. Reviews from others have noted that these can be tricky to assemble, and some have noted issues with quality. From my perspective? These were great. Sure, there are a lot of parts, and it takes a bit of time to get them together. And sure, if you don't line things up right during assembly, they won't look great... But if you patiently follow the instructions and assemble the pieces carefully, you'll have no problems. I don't know if these will last a lifetime, but I also don't plan to abuse these - they're just nightstands, after all. They look great, the drawers work well, and the product seems fairly consistent (coming from someone who ordered two of these) I'm very happy with what I got from WE furniture, and I hope you will be too.

I had only 3 days before the guests arrived at the new house and the guest room was not ready for their arrival. I needed two bedside tables, but the local stores did not have something interesting in stock. And then I decided to find something on Amazon. Found these two bedside tables, that look not bad on the pictures, and delivery was guaranteed in two days. As it turned out, fast delivery was the only good thing about this purchase. I still had one day to assemble these bedside tables. From the first minute I realized that I made a big mistake when I ordered this furniture. The bedside tables turned out to be lame “homemade style” products. The only true thing was that they were made of wood. Absolutely all the elements were sheer ugliness. My 80-year-old grandfather was making amateur furniture in his little shed and that was Versailles furniture compared to these nightstands. Poorly painted, lacking even a roughly decent look inside, these turned out to be the worst pieces of furniture I have ever bought. There is no design or engineering thought in these nightstands. The entire structure is assembled with glue and screws, which are screwed in flat surfaces with unprepared holes. The drawers do not have any metal rails, and with great effort they move along the wooden sticks screwed to the inner walls. The whole structure is not very stable and the drawers constantly get stuck on the runners. I was assembling these ugly boxes with understanding that it would be impossible to return them, but I needed at least something for the guests. Dear Amazon, you need to enforce quality control for the sellers in your system. Such furniture cannot be sold, it just needs to be shredded into sawdust and used in gardening. Now I feel ashamed that I installed this ugliness for my guests. I’ll just dump to the garbage both of these little dummies as soon as the guests leave my house. I will not post pictures here because they will remind me of my stupidity. I am writing this review only so that no one would ever even think about buying these wretched bow-legged boxes. Their real price of these nightstands is $5 a pair and I wouldn’t even take them for free.

Not terrible, but a few things stood out as poor quality and cheap. 1) drawer bottoms are made of hardboard- very flimsy and cheap. 2) assembly was annoying. Coming from someone who has done carpentry for years I found it annoying and a few drill holes did not align properly. This caused wood to split in one area, even when using a regular screwdriver (not electric) Overall it does look nice… but we will see how it lasts. I got it for a guest bedroom so it should be ok. Definitely wouldn’t recommend if you have anything remotely heavy to put in the drawers.

Awesome product all real wood! Packaging is well organized and properly labeled for ease of installation.

I appreciate the solid wood! It was a long process to put it together, but instructions were very straight forward and easy, and worth it in the end!

Drawer did not slide smoothly, had to sand down the side of the right rail because at closer inspection (and removal of it) it was bowed out a bit. I also loosened all the screws or removed them, put the drawers back in, set it on the ground, then slowly tightened the screws, moved it back into place so that it'd be square, then went to the other side and did that screw, etc.. DO NOT install the back panel (nailed in piece) until after you make sure everything is square and the drawers slide smoothly. 3 hours to assemble and troubleshoot this thing. A pain!!
