KAJIMOTOR Universal 51mm Metal Motorcycle Exhaust Can DB Killer Silencer Muffler Baffle

This insert is only for tuning your exhaust sound by having the gases traveling in a "organized way". It will not lower the sound. I actually installed two of these to even greater tune the sound of my exhaust. I did a custom work in order to instal 2. I also added some steel wool to lower the sound. Overall great insert. Will use it again.

Didn’t reduce the noise as much as I’d like, but that’s no fault of the product. Great price great purchase, fit perfectly. I should have gone with the similar product with the added baffling for reduced DBs.

This model isn't much of a "silencer", and I didn't expect it to be. It does do a nice job of lowering the harsher "popping" tones, which is what I wanted. Edit: after a few hundred miles I noticed my exhaust sound changing. I bought a different baffle and opened the exhaust to find this one had fallen apart inside. The little V-piece came off entirely and the rest was just rattling around inside the outer metal part.

The size of the bell is 51mm, but the body diameter is 45mm. Bell to end is 70mm (total length, not including bail - the welded-wire "handle" that sticks up in the picture). Too large to be placed internally for my system, but would fit into the outer cone if I machine that by 1mm (my Bassani exhaust cone is 44mm ID for the outlet). This thing is quite beefy, weighs 183gms, and mine needs two.

Experimenting on replacing a muffler on 2 cylinder, 1 liter engine with flanged walker exhaust pipe and this [DB Killer} as an insert to reduce sound a bit. It was direct mounted to the Cat converter. See my pix for reference. I TIG-welded this DB killer in the Walker adapter pipe. Result...no noticeable noise reduction...but the HP drop was noticeable at higher RPM's! Removed it and will try something else.

Folks were complaining about how loud my mower was. I had to weld it onto the pipe but it cut down the noise on Cub Cadet Tank a lot. The mower seems like it runs a little better also. Great product and well made.

i bought this to reduce the noise on the exhaust but it bearly can notice the difference is still laud as always.

installed on king quad took the popping out a little quitter had to weld on no big problem good product for the money
