I don't think so. The output is meant to drive headphones, so you'd likely be overdriving the preamp on your guitar amp. I don't think this unit would be particularly effective at boosting lower frequencies on a guitar, especially when you consider it's designed to transmit a signal that is already rich with low frequencies. I don't know this for certain, but I don't think I'd purchase this unit specifically for that purpose.

does the VOX AMPHONE AC30 work with the Vox AmPlug Bass?

Hi treyten, sorry but I don't know certainly what you ask. I guess it works because AmPlug has headphone built-in plug and I connect there my standard headphones, so amphone should work at least as standard headphone. Regards

I am not sure what that would sound like or even if it would work. Vox makes one specifically for basses that a friend of mine has. He loves it.
