MOTOROLA DROID RAZR MAXX HD XT-926 EV40 3.8V 3.3Ah LI-POL BATT

I put this in my RAZR Maxx HD and it now has battery life like a new phone! Its nice to again have days of use without having to recharge. Even when running many apps all at once using bluetooth, GPS, WiFi; which normally drains the old battery in a day. This battery even includes the torx tool needed to unscrew and remove the battery! Item slow to ship. Battery would not work in phone. Would not recognize and charge. Had to call amazon to get response for shipping back to vendor. Disappointed.

battery life back

It has improved my battery life. Not as much as I expected because it doesn't seem to be as good as when the phone was new.

This seemly identical battery -to the original- started out giving excellent performance; however, after about 30-60 days the performance rapidly degraded. Presently it is no better than the heavy used 1 3/4 year old battery I replaced. At least the original took well over a year to degrade. It certainly was not worth the cost of replacement.

Quick shipment. The added screwdriver was perfect addin, as it was needed to replace the battery in my phone & I didn't have one that would fit. I would order again if needed.

Replacing this battery is NOT for amateurs. This is not the battery's fault, or this manufacturer or seller. This is simply a design choice that Motorola made to not have the batteries in their phones serviceable.That's right, if you are considering this battery to replace an existing one in a phone, be advised that your phone is NOT designed to let you do this. You should have some considerable skills and experience with delicate electronics to even attempt this. Otherwise you should take your phone to a professional phone repair shop or just buy a new phone.This battery comes with both the tools you will need, but does not come with ANY instructions other than 'charge the battery'.The cable attached to the battery is very delicate and can easily be ripped off. Again, not the fault of this manufacturer, but you should be aware and very careful. Likewise, everything inside your phone is incredibly miniaturized and NOT meant to be tampered with. There are good youtube videos out there that will show you exactly where to pry and where all the screws are, but you must be super careful. The little ribbon connectors that attach the screen are particularly difficult to reattach. I ruined my phone and had to buy a used one to replace it. Definitely more trouble than it was worth.Overall, the battery is fine, life is just like a new OEM battery, but if you're not super careful you can destroy your phone trying to install this battery.
