VIVOSUN Small Space Mini Dehumidifier, Ultra-Quiet Auto Shut-off Dehumidifier for Grow Tent, Bedroom, Bathroom, RV, Closet

This mini dehumidifier uses technology so it doesn’t need a compressor making it real quiet and ideal. It has a real nice design and goes good with a bright and reflective environment such as an indoor garden. When humidity builds up things can get moist, moldy and musty smelly. Because of that I purchased this mini dehumidifier because where I live it’s very humid. It’s pretty small and will fit well in the grow tent. It collects the excess moisture in a compartment on the back that you remove when the water reaches full capacity. A light will come on when you need to empty the water. It comes with an AC adapter that allows the appliance to use only 45w of electricity. All in all. It’s great to have such a small dehumidifier for a great price. Other humidifiers out there our allot bigger and way more expensive. If you have humidity and you need to remove it from a closet or small space this is what your looking for.

Purchased this unit for a 24” x 36” x 60”H grow tent. Brought down the humidity about 4% and increased the grow tent temperature about 5 degrees. Dissatisfied with this model, does not perform as stated in the product descriptions.

When I ordered this product, the first unit I received unfortunately ended up being a dud. It would never turn on when plugged in, with the green power light on the power cord repeatedly flashing forever. I was obviously disappointed in this, filed a request to get a replacement product, and sent the product back to amazon. Less than 2 days after sending the broken product back, I received a new one that functioned flawlessly. It dropped the humidity in my 2x2 tent by 10% which is exactly what I was looking for. I am happy to say it seems the dud I received was a fluke, as I have always enjoyed every vivosun product I have purchased. Would happily purchase again!

Here's pics of the led indicator as many have asked about before..the light is now safe green. I see where the next version can easily be upgraded with more user friendly settings..it does help alleviate humidity problems while working with fans well..more indicator factors are needed, a remote option would help, it's very basic and perfect for a small room adding in abit more functionality would go along way for growers however. would like for a sensor probe, a wireless function, timer settings. Placement in your room and tent is vital to have a positive effect..green lights are safe to plants..it's the color you must use if invading plants dark cycles..but red is a stop sign and if you allow this small 400ml device to ever get that full..then jokes on you. It's very quiet science at work and fits incredibly well in a controlled space..but could use a leash and few lessons on obeying commands.. I'm certain vivosun will get it right next time.

This is an excellent dehumidifier for small spaces. I initially used it in a 4x4 tent and it's 4l capacity wasn't enough to keep up with the amount of humidity we get in our area. I switched it to a 60cmx60cmx200cm grow space and it has worked much better. Be sure your space isn't too large for this to keep up and it should be a great addition to your "tomato" growing.

I really wanted to like this Vivosun Dehumidifier but man right away it started proving it's cheapness. The power plug going into the unit would pop right out when going to disconnect it, luckily it would still work. After several months of mild use it simply quit working period. I tried to get it to come back on because yes it is a great design and size for a small 2x4 tent and there's not a lot out there in comparison, until my favorite company AC Infin. just released their version which I'm scooping up a few. The quality just isn't there with this brand. I'm no expert but I would not recommend this item.

I bought this for use in my Vivosun 4x4 tent as the humidity can sometimes get up to 80% when it rains. Upon opening the box and removing the appliance, the water tank immediately fell out and got a small chip. Though this hasn't affected the operation of the device, some form of release mechanism may have been useful. The device is otherwise quite compact and simple to use. The led light at the front of the appliance was either quite dim or non-functional but I still taped it up as a precaution to avoid messing with the light cycle. As for raw values, I honestly haven't seen much of a drop in the average humidity as it still sits around 60%. The device does draw a fair amount of water, but based on the data I have to wonder how efficient it really is (the picture of the tank shows approximately how full it was after two days without rain or one day with rain). I'll continue to monitor the humidity and will update accordingly in the future.

Review of the "400ml/D Dehumidifier for Grow Tent" model. So far, I've had it a week, and it's doing an OK job in my converted 8x4ft canning room. (A little larger than a grow tent, but I don't have much humidity to remove). I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about, but this NOT compressor based, it is indeed Peltier based, it says so right in the manual included with the device. I choose this device because it turns on automatically when power is supplied to it (Read, a smart switch). I didn't want anything digital/smart.

This is awful it does absolutely nothing in my small grow tent.

I got this during the rainy season where the whole room felt wet. And especially when u got pet at home, my cat’s poop was smelly all over my place. After I started using it, it eliminated the smell cuz it makes the air dry out. More, it’s really quiet and can operate 24/7 with no problems at all. I have been using it for more than half years now and it works perfectly.

This dehumidifier is the perfect size for my RV. It worked perfectly for three days then didn't. The manufacturer has kindly said they will replace it and I don't have to send back the broken one, good thing as Canada Post is still on strike. I look forward to the replacement! Thank you VIVOSON

Product arrived on time, and Packaged well. Small Mini Dehumidifier. Easy to use and Handy handle to move unit from tent to tent. Purchased to use in my 48 x 48 x 81 grow tent, after 24 hours of use a noticeable reduction in humidity levels. Eliminated the moisture on sides of tent due to being humid. The LED Indicator seems dim, but wish there was a way to dim it more. Overall very satisfied with this Mini Dehumidifier, Works great for it's size.
