Amazing lifespan, easy to assemble - flies stink fyi
These work FANTASTICALLY! Easy to assemble, quick to start working, perfect for using outside, I would not use them inside for more than maybe a couple hours: they begin to stink after not too long due to the amount of flies they catch. Their lifespan is amazing, mine have been outside for almost three weeks and they’re still catching flies! Just to be clear: they stink after not very long, you won’t want to hang out around them a couple hours after you have assembled them.

So easy to use! Say goodbye to flies!
Be sure to use outside. You don’t want to put them too close to any entrance of your house because they smell terrible. Super easy to use pop open the top until it snaps add the inside package fill with water and enjoy not having to catch flies. Every couple of days I check the water/fly level to make sure it’s still functioning add water or empty and put in a bait refill. Works amazing! So worth the money!

The best I have found
This has been such a great idea in trying to keep the fly population down. Inexpensive and effective. Simple and easy to use. The only time it get's messy is when you empty the jar with lots of dead fly's and nasty, stinky water. Wear throw away gloves when you do. I've used competing products before and always come back to the Rescue brand. The jar is a one time purchase as you can buy the "refill" packets separately. Once filled with the appropriate amount of water, and the packet is put in the water, you'll pull the access top up and it will lock into place allowing the fly's to climb in, but they can't get out. Perfect. Obviously, the odor is nasty, but that's what the fly's are drawn to. So, you place it away from an outdoor seating area or grilling area. Just far enough away where the odor doesn't bother you. The fly's will find it. Easy to recommend.

Gets the job done worth the price.
These work the best for catching flies, gnats and hornets. Easy to use just open and add water. Doesn’t come with a string to hang but there is a place to tie onto the top. Smell is pretty bad I wouldn’t hang close to a place you plan to sit and relax or where you frequently walk.

Excellent Product
Works, and works well! We have a lot of flies in our area during the summer (live in the south of the US and our dog uses the back yard as his bathroom). We placed two of these on either side of our yard, and WOW! Caught a lot of flies, and the breeding/producing of more flies throughout the season was lowered substantially than years past. Good product.

Gross but effective
This works really well at trapping a ton of flies out in the yard. It gets really gross and smells terrible but it is super effective. I use the refills to save money from replacing the whole unit every time , but I pay the price with cleaning the nasty trap out before putting the new solution in. I made the mistake of dumping the dead fly juice out in the yard, because my little Shih Tzu found it and rolled all in it and got really stinky. He was very happy but I was very upset having to wash him multiple times!

Definitely using again!
Only use these if you want to catch every fly in a one mile radius. These things work insanely well! We had a problem near our chicken and bunny coop this summer and these were the only things that helped. It is so easy to use too they last a while and the price is way more than reasonable. However, the smell is not the best, but I’d rather deal with that then the unbearable annoyance of flies and the disgust they bring with them. Definitely using again!

Gotta love the smell lol
Don't let the great smell fool you. Its going to wake up your senses but it also will attract those flies and keep them all going for an eternal swim. I placed these near the corners of the yard and this summer was nice and we didn't have any flies hanging around. I hung one under the orange tree we have since last year the county said there may be fruit flys in the area. It did a great job keeping flies away and allowing pollinators to do their job. The container is a good sturdy plastic that can handle the 100 degree heat and some wild summer winds. I usually fill them back up after a week of evaporation.

I live on an acreage in cattle country. There are more flies here than blades of grass. These traps work so well that they fill up in a few weeks with thousands of flies. Flies love them so much that they are now calling and making reservations! Just hang them far away from where you hang out in your yard. There's a good reason (smell) why flies are drawn to them!!

Have not caught a single fly in the 3 weeks they have been hanging. Update. We'll they finally started catching flies. I don't know why it took so long for them to be effective.
