It was the perfect size for the surround we have and, despite what the blurb said, it did come with a battery included. We'd also bought some LR43 batteries (Duracell) because we did not expect it to come in working condition, and those do look to be the right size. I can't hear the tick, but my husband says he can, but that it isn't intrusive. Very happy with it overall.

Standard size and fits nicely as a replacement . Works well and looks good.

Used to replace the missing clockwork barrel clock original. This train was my grandad's and I'm in my 60's. I think he made it and I repainted it when I was about 10. As you can see, the clock fits literally like it was made for it. If anyone has some 3 1/2" scale lamps for the irons..... There were red and white dies cast lead ones, but the last time I saw those was 50 years ago. The unit itself is cleanly made, no seams or loose bits. The finish is also fine. Only the 'quartz' logo gives it away :-)

Had a blemish on paintwork, but luckily not able to see once placed in my outer clock mounting, so it saved my clock. Looks good but smaller than my original, as this was nearest size I could get. Dislike the loud ticking though, and find the second hand annoying.

Perfect just the job

I bought a miniature grandfather clock but it needed a new face insert, this suited my needs and fit well.
