Sounds good but don’t use for bass
Upgraded sound setup in 1979 f150. Sounds great but works best for mids and treble. Not suitable for bass.

2004 Z06 Install: Big Improvement over the OEM Bose Speakers
These are a direct replacement for the factory speakers. Replaced both the 5.25” rear and 3.5” door speakers with JBL Speakers. The sound quality is greatly improved with no other changes to the OEM Bose system. The 5.25” and 3.5” speakers are plug and play even with the OEM Bose system. All 4 speakers took less than 1 hour to install.

Would have liked the exclamation point to be red instead of orange but oh well . The important thing is they sound good!

Perfect fit for my OEM speakers in my BMW.
Easy installation and the sound is quite good, especially compared to the ripped up speakers that were in my car!

Blown
I was expecting these to sound better as i saw a YT video hyping JBL but these can’t really handle the sound just connected to my head unit which is by no means massively powerful. Not impressed at all. Very tinny sounding Edit: I just realized why these aren’t sounding great. The speakers blew out and I didn’t have any amp installed. My stereo goes up to a 40 but at about the 12 mark, they started sounding floppy… I am so pissed cause there’s no way i can return these. And I’m out front door speakers. You get what you pay for
