UPDATE: After the 5th burn because of stupid hole, I cut mine off (see picture). I love the product but they need to eliminate the hole before someone is seriously burned. I love these because they reliably protect your hands from heat---no matter what temperature that casserole dish is coming out of the oven. The other great feature of silicone is that hot dish won't slip. These are truly amazing with only one flaw... I do not like the hole they've placed for hanging these on a hook. I keep mine in a drawer. So? When you pick up something hot, be very careful about the position of the holes. The heat (obviously) goes through the hole. I've burned myself a couple times because I wasn't thinking about the holes. Normally that might mean a star should be taken away. Well, that's unfair because some people will want the holes. And, the only reason you have to be careful is because the things work so well. You honestly can't feel heat through these unlike a cloth based pot holder that warms as you make your way to the counter from the oven! UPDATE I've burned myself several times because of that hole. They need to redesign these WITHOUT the hole. You want to hang a piece of rubber up in your kitchen, punch a hole. That darn hole is dangerous.

These are so amazing. The only issue I have had is when getting out a hot pan my finger going thru the hole and getting burnt. But now that I pay more attention to that I know how to prevent that from happening. I love the bright colors and the are so easy to clean. It is not like the cloth ones that you have to put in the washing machine to get clean and then it seems like the heat protection after washing is not as good as they were new. These last forever and do not fade or melt. I can not feel any heat when you are holding a hot pan. And when they get dirty all you have to do is rinse them off or take a little dish soap and clean them and they are just like new again. This will definitely be on my Christmas list for my friends that are cooks this year. I will never own a regular pot holder again.

These potholders are incredibly versatile and belong in every kitchen, residential and commercial. This is a very nice assortment of colors that I can see assigning specific tasks based on colors, or just to liven up the presentation. Unlike the old fabric ones, these are the kind of utilitarian pieces of equipment that you can bring out when company comes and not be embarrassed by their shabby condition or dirty appearance. Why? Because no matter what you do to them, they clean up like new. Silicone is amazing stuff and it bounces back, stays fresh looking, and it washes up to look like new in just a few seconds. On the old style, if you got them wet with a bit of gravy, they didn't protect you anymore and you had to go through a wash dry cycle for a few hours before you could use them again. And they looked messy. With these, all the water essentially runs off and it wouldn't matter if they are wet. They still protect your tender hands just like they were dry. If you mess them up, a quick rinse running water with just a drop of soap and they are clean and fresh looking. If you leave them out to get full of food that dries on, it's still no problem. Toss them on the top rack of the dishwasher, and they will come out looking like new. But of course, what's a hot pad if it doesn't protect from the heat, right? Well I use nothing but antique cast iron pans, and those handles get very hot, and they are sometimes hard to grip if the pan is heavy and my hands are soiled. Bekith pads the rescue! Where other pads still allow you to feel the heat and you have to make a judgment call as to whether you want to pick up that pan, these have no such deficiencies. The pan can be a screaming sear pan and your hand will never know it. They are also serious grippers. Even oily, the gripper pads on these things allow you to maintain control. That's not where the function on these pads end either. If you've ever tried to open a jar of pickles and found yourself beating it with a knife handle and still your hand slips, give these a try. Obviously they don't add any torque to your arm, but they do allow your hand to grip that lid so that at least slippage isn't your issue. A set of these will be going in Christmas stockings for my adult kids this year.

These guys are great. I donated all of my regular pot holders and use these exclusively. I love that they take up virtually no space and can be used as pot holders or hot plates. What's not to love about a multipurpose tool? The only downside I have seen is that there are those little holes at the top. I have accidentally had my finger over the hole when taking something out of the oven resulting in my finger touching the hot baking sheet directly. Lesson learned.

Love these silicone mats. They are great to protect counter or table tops from hot pans and dishes. Quality is great, and are well worth their price.

I was tired of burning my hands with the cloth pot holders I owned so I purchased these to give it a try. The first time I used it, grabbing a hot cookie sheet, I was amazed I felt nothing! They are very flexible so it makes it very easy to grab and hold on to items. As I continue to use it, I have noticed some pans can feel warm when taking them out of the oven, but not enough to hurt or burn you. I put one of these guys in the dishwasher just to try it out, it came out with lots of water spots, but other than that it showed no wear and tear. These are great for the price and my hands are finally burn free!

I bought these as gifts for other people. I already bought a set of them for myself quite a while ago and I love them. The bright colors makes it very easy to spot when you need one. I use them mostly as a trivet. I also use 2 under my cutting board when I use it on my counter. It keeps it from slipping and moving around while I cut veggies and such. They clean up very nicely with just a quick rinse. I have a glass cooktop range and I set them on it to keep from scratching the glass top. They're just the right size for a trivet but I don't think I would feel comfortable using them as a pot holder. They're not flexible enough for that. They're a beautiful addition to a kitchen.

These silicone trivets are awesome. They are thick and the heat from hot pans placed them never transfer through. The design allows heat to pass through between the raised crosses not allowing heat to pass through under to the table or your hand. A quality made product which is easy to store. Easy to clean with a soft sponge with soapy warm water. I would have liked if they also made bigger sizes so that large rectangular trays could be placed on them. But it is really a very good quality product. Will definitely buy more.

Works well and as expected. Silicone material is flexible and pliable. The mats a little thinner than my other mats.

Purchased for general use in kitchen as they can serve many varied tasks. Colours are rather muted for my taste but will be very useful
