I've been baking for 30 years. During that time, I've made macarons, homemade breads, specialty cookies, pretzels, bagels, pita pockets... I can bake, and I do bake. Cinnamon is also one of my favorite spices. I usually have three types of it, ranging from the Chinese type that screams cinnamon candy hearts to the mellow type found in powdered coffees. I like this cinnamon! If I had to only buy one cinnamon for the rest of my life, this one would possibly be able to provide all the flavor ranges I needed. I like it because the smell is sharp and bright, and yet it doesn't bring me to tears. It has undertones as well, like earth and vanilla. The taste is similar to the smell. It's bright, but it mellows as it sits on the tongue. I can see why some people don't like it, though, as this cinnamon does have an earthy taste; however, the earthy taste isn't dirt. It's more like a foundation for other flavors. And cinnamon is ground, and it's ground fine; it's possibly going to remind some people of dust. I do recommend this cinnamon, as the price is really good for the purity. You're not going to find metals in an organic product (hopefully). Bake on!!!!

This seasoning is perfect in every way. The flavor is a bit stronger than most seasonings, but in the best way — it really brings dishes to life. It’s organic, super clean, and so easy to cook with. Every time I use it, it makes a noticeable difference and adds so much depth and flavor. Definitely one of my new kitchen favorites!

I was absolutely flabbergasted at the flavor difference between Ceylan and store brand cinnamon. It was like night and day. The Ceylan cinnamon’s flavor was just amazing, while the store brand cinnamon was OK. I will always purchase this brand of cinnamon from here on out.

The flavor is very good and the quantity for the price is excellent. The cinnamon is finely powdered and flows freely from a regular shaker bottle without plugging the holes. However, the package IS NOT RESEALABLE, so you must have storage capacity to keep the generous quantity fresh. I filled a regular sized shaker bottle and two 2-cup plastic screw-top storage containers with the contents.

Reviewing the Frontier Co-op Store Organic Ground Vietnamese Cinnamon, 1-Pound Bulk. I have been tuned into Vietnamese Cinnamon for years now, originally being introduced to it at a local Penzeys Spices. And, I fell fast and hard! It's an impossibility NOT to! Well, Penzeys closed their local store a couple of years back, but thankfully, I was still able to get this DELICIOUSLY fragrant, bold, almost sweet Vietnamese Cinnamon through their online store. But the price (for a much smaller jar) on top of the SHIPPING charges just became UNBEARABLE and unrealistic. When searching for an alternative, I found this brand and took a chance. The price for a whopping 1 lb bag was mind-blowing in comparison to Penzeys and, as it turns out, the taste and fragrance - IDENTICAL! I couldn't be happier to have found this supplier for my beloved Vietnamese Cinnamon!!! Trust me, if you haven't tried it, you simply MUST! You just can't imagine the difference from the crappy stuff you may be buying at the grocery store like I did all those years ago. One try and you will be a believer and will never go back! I didn't fear ordering such a large quantity because I use a LOT of cinnamon - you probably will increase your consumption also when you get a nose of the aroma and then the sweet, bold taste. On top of the cinnamon profile and properties, stand-alone, it's certified organic, non-GMO, non-irradiated, kosher and sustainably grown. If you're on the fence, DO IT, you will have zero regrets (well, except you might regret not getting it sooner!) There's a REASON it's got almost 5 stars in over 1,000 reviews.

I was advised to take this because of my diabetes. However, the first few attempts took the roof of my mouth off and my tongue became very sensitive! I have found that the best way of taking it is in yoghurt before a meal. I also drink pure lemon juice before meals. Early days yet, I have only tested my sugar once but I was very surprised at the reduction. I am very happy now that I have sorted out the method of taking it.

Wanted a cinnamon where I could add a teaspoon and the flavor would go a long way. Like Martha Stewarts high quality cinnamon only add the best. Didn't totally get that with this product. It is better than the store brands I have available and way better than the cheapest of cheap powders but not 25 dollars great. Use it in my special baked goods for a special cinnamon feel not super powerful doesn't overwhelm but can't say its better enough to warrent the price.

I have never smelled and tasted anything better that this cinnamon (the old one from a supermarket went straight to the bin after I've opened this one). As it is a large quantity I keep it in an airtight container in the fridge. I would recommend this product.
