I bought the monel wire after researching what is the best metal wire for archival mounting/framing of artwork/objects in a shadow box frame. It's a lot of wire to buy just for framing and mounting, but the diameter and workability are excellent for that purpose. You hardly notice the wire when looking at the framed objects.

I've used this product for years and it has never failed me unless I continued fishing with a kink in the wire, and that was my own fault. I use this offshore in the Texas Gulf of Mexico for Kings, Spanish, and sharks.

this stuff is consistent

This is correct for tying barracuda lures; works great.
