After looking at other nvr systems I settled on this one to replace an old dvr setup. Install was really easy, it is very much plug and play. Motion detection is easy to set up and I am really impressed with the night colour vision. The pictures I included were taken at different times of the day, one at 9.35 pm when it was dark, and the other around 6.40pm when it was still daytime. Not much difference at all, and the picture quality is spot on. Just need to fine tune a couple of things ( including switching of the ir sensor to give me all night colour vision), there's plenty of options to set it up in so many ways. I've read many reviews (here and elsewhere), saying the phone app could be better. All I can say is, it's a lot better than the app on my previous system. True, you cannot fast forward the video, but with the Motion alerts you get a timeline and a short video to show the event. Only installed it a few days ago, but so far I like this a lot. If you're looking for a high spec system with excellent cameras (don't take my word for it, check them out on YouTube) I definitely recommend this system. And no, I don't work for Annke🤣

Very good system and fairly easy to fit depending on your DIY ability and where you want the cameras and system. When fitted it is very easy to set up and the picture quality is good, I need to mess around the with settings a bit more but it’s much better than HD options. The down side is the app. You can only watch footage back in normal speed but the function on the system is very good. All in all, I would easily recommend this system to anyone.

Had these for around nearly 2yrs now.. running non-stop. I’m very tech-wise and don’t generally even take the instruction manuals out the box for anything and that was also the case here, but they really are just a plug and play CCTV kit. With mine I’ve also routed all the wires through the attic so nothing trailing and very neat. Great quality videos and playback (depending on what recording setting you have it on). The instructions say that you should only have 1 camera on full max resolution, but I have run all 4 before without an issue but I do find the recording and playback can be a bit sluggish so I’ve reduced 3 down a bit to help with this. May try swapping the HDD out for a fresh SSD at some point to see if this helps recording/ playback speed but not needed. Caught many things on them from wildlife to annoying neighbours do completely stupid ignorant stuff, so defiantly worth it just for the laughs/ piece of mind! Motion detection can be a bit naff to setup as can be either to sensitive or not enough but you can use the grid to mark out areas pretty well. I don’t use the alerts option either as where some are they would be going off all the time. Cameras are also heated so “shouldn’t” and haven’t frozen over in winter time. App works great, but doesn’t do very recent playback well, found must be around 20min+ for app to playback. Only thing I couldn’t and still can’t get working is the colour night vision.. no idea if it’s even an option but it’s advertised but not in settings. Also wish these recorded sound, that would have been great. Would buy again, or would like to purchase/ obtain a more expensive CCTV set to compare quality!

The setup for the first camera was a bit tricky but nothing that reading the instructions a couple of times couldn't sort out. I did contact the supplier to say I had an issue and they responded within 24 hours as they state, by which time I had sorted the problem out. Put an hour to one side to sort the first camera out then the rest you can set up in just a few minutes each. There are many configurable parameters with this kit so take the time to go through each one to optimise your system for your requirements. The instructions are very good, in English. I gave four stars for picture quality as I find it difficult to reach the full potential of the cameras in preview mode.

Well…..let’s start……very happy with product……pros……4K cameras are great…..picture fantastic…..each camera has microphone and records sound too…..if enough light then colour video in darkness is also fantastic…..see pictures etc…….I’ll post two of each - all at night …..believe me when I say they were taken at late at night etc…….the video recorder is also well made and easy to set up etc……the whole package has enhances the security around my house for problems I had with neighbours etc……thinking of getting more cameras as system is expandable etc. Cons…… remote is disappointing as software took me two weeks to understand what to do etc…..yes easy to record and play back but the extra settings needs more time to understand and remote does not navigate the menus very well etc……I’ve gone back to using the mouse etc. The app is easy to use and plays al, cameras live etc…..although play back and rewind videos recorded don’t work very well ……might be my broadband connection or mobile signal can’t cope with 4K recorded videos etc…..that said I also have learnt that it could be the sub stream set to high quality etc……sub stream being playback not live stream etc…….also the Ethernet cables I choose not to use as I purchased better outdoor cable that was also coloured black instead of grey etc……all in all I was glad I bought this system and paid more money for the better quality etc……yes it takes time getting use to the interface …..could be better ….. but I’m well happy etc…..cameras are well built and weather proof ….been running for a month now and no trouble etc……. I would buy again etc……note…..software allows for blanking out areas for not recording …..and where motion alerts can be zoned out etc…..ie moving trees etc……well packaged…..not tried Annke support as all working etc……I .still need to play around with some of the settings etc …… ps……set up on the table fresh out the box……then it’s ready when you install cameras outside etc…..god luck
