5 stars just isn't enough
What a product! If I could this would be a 6/5. Functionally, the limited back flow, makes it extremely useful when making loose leaf tea. I've tried green and mint tea and it has been exceptional. The retention of heat is phenomenal, with coffee staying at a temperature that is close to molten for over 2hrs. My only want for this product is a matt black version, as this will enable me to take it on my Specials Ops missions, the current gloss black can be picked up by enemy search lights.

Many people have the black version and that seems fine. It's a damn good coffee fileter/cafetier insulated mug ...
I purchased a red one and withing a week the grip pain around the sides was coming off on my hand, leaving red on fingers etc. I have only ever washed this by hand and never used a dishwasher. Many people have the black version and that seems fine. It's a damn good coffee fileter/cafetier insulated mug though, and would recommend getting one. I'll just have to live with the grip paint coming off as the supplier would not replace it with a non-faulty version, they just wanted to give a full refund once I returned it. As I wanted to keep it that was not an option. I did suggest they (the Friendly lifestyle store) send a new one to me and I would return the faulty one to them for their analysis. But there's never been a reply to that suggestion, so I'll just have to live with it. So, don't by a red one. ;)

Great, but the rubber gasket will deteriorate after 2 years.
This is a fantastic product. But after a couple years, the rubber gasket will turn into a wet rubbery dissolving mess and you wouldn't want to use it at that point. Point deducted because Bobble do not sell replacement rubber gaskets which are the undisclosed "consumable" of this stainless steel coffee press system. If they did sell replacements, then you might use the press for perhaps decades.

Great for a nice coffee at work
Does exactly what was promised. I do not feel any weir taste from the lid or other silicone parts. Easy to use and the design is very nice. Edit: the "pattern" on the mug is coming off after two weeks. It seems that the paint got soft (sticky) and then rubs off. Still functions well but for 30 Pounds the quality should be better.

This is the best thing ever invented for those people like me who likes black coffee with sugar. It is easy to use. It stays hot/warm for a looooong time. I would say 3 hours or so. It is a bit hard to clean. I use it once a day and wash it with dishwashing soap and water.

Muy buen café, rápido y práctico En único punto por lo que no le doy 5 estrellas es por la tapa que podría ser más adecuada si fuera contra derrames

This is a great stainless steel French press mug. Metal mug with stainless steel sleeve makes this very durable, and will last for years. Unfortunately the lid is made of silicone so it does leak when tipped, and gets hot. Also silicone will not be very durable compared with a real plastic lid. The cup is a tad too big for most cup holders in vehicles, so I have to hold it when I drive. Other than that, this is a great mug.

Presse is a pretty good coffee gear that I have purchased. It’s quick to make a fresh single-serving coffee for myself. I love the design and the filter gasket which can also be used as a measuring cup so that I can use the right amount of coffee ground every time I brew with Presse (the coffee:water ratio is about 1:16 if I pour water to the line marked inside the tumbler). The fact that Presse is a travel tumbler which can keep my coffee hot for quite long makes using Presse convenient as well. However, Presse’s biggest problem is the rubber lid; many reviews on Amazon seem to agree with this as well. The rubber smell of the lid is so strong that I have to take if off every time I drink. The customer service told me they were working on a solution to this. Disassembling the filter gasket from the inner press as instructed in the manual is a bit tricky. I was not able to disassemble it for the first 2-3 weeks of using; now it's easier to turn the filter gasket. Overall, I think this is a great purchase!

Timed over 3 hours - with lid on - (below) Happy to have chosen this Bobble French press. (Been unhappy with others I've tried) This cup has a rich / quality appearance - construction - design - & is very sturdy / durable. >>> While I wish there was a French press go cup designed that the filter would press completely against the coffee grounds to squish out maximum richness and goodness, I've not found one yet. >>> But this cup is the next best thing in that it's reverse flow filter allows liquid back through it, leaving only a very small amount (1 Tablespoon) held among the grinds. (If you keep sipping - eventually it'll drain out also) >>> I'm guessing the inability to squish the grounds is why instructions say add 4 tablespoons in 12 - 13 oz of water. (filter is useful for measuring) (Stronger then rule of thumb suggested when brewed by other means = 2 tablespoons per 8 oz water) Completely stainless steel (food-grade 304), with a high-temperature (food-grade) silicone lid. Lid is supple and easy on / off, but has a fairly strong unpleasant smell at first, but gone by 3rd-4th use. Cup has rubber (silicone ?) foot that's an excellent non-slip feature. Three pieces - top-rack dishwasher safe Cup outside measurements - 3 1/4" W - 5 1/4" T >>> Initial 185 degrees (boiling) = UN-drinkable for 1 1/2 hr - then very hot, can barely sip. >>> 2 hr = 145 degrees - can't drink but bigger sips >>> 2 1/2 hr = 140 degrees - still hot - go slow >>> 3 hr = 134 degrees - very warm - perfect for drinking it down. Of course if lid is left off - can start sipping after a few minutes. >>> Outside of cup totally cool from go.
