This seller is great to work with, and their candy is delicious. I only wish that I had found this sooner. The licorice covered in chocolate with a crisp coating is the best black licorice candy that I have I have ever tasted. It has been purchased for me twice, and this Christmas I also purchased it as a gift, and for myself. I know that I will continue to purchase it.

AMAZING! Was looking for gourmet licorice and these are definitely it! They are soft, chewy and absolutely delicious!! Will certainly be purchasing these again!

Lakrids are dreamy. A superior confection. The black licorice is delicious and has a perfect texture chewy with a bit of bite. (They call it “sweet” licorice because in many parts of Europe, as in Denmark, licorice can typically be salted. I find salted licorice revolting. The way licorice typically comes in Italy on the other hand is laced with mint.) Lakrids are coated in a smooth dreamy delicious chocolate wrapped in a thin delicate coating; not as thick or indelicate as that on M&Ms but its own “Lakrid” candy coating. It’s this candy coating which contains the varied flavors such as sour apple, strawberry, pink, pineapple, passionfruit, mango, etc. - . I wish they weren’t so delicious because I wouldn’t want them as often. The price is high of course they’re imported…truly a delicacy from Denmark. The company, founded in 2007 by Johan Bülow, specializes in creating luxury, gourmet licorice and chocolate (check their website ). Many flavors strawberry white chocolate and licorice, lemon, peach, mango, chocolate toffee crunch, dark and light milk, chocolate, and all kinds of combos… and including seasonal flavors. Pictured is the small jar of Passionfruit. The aroma alone when lift the paper seal is dreamy.

I received the product on time, and when I opened the package, I wanted to ensure it was still sealed. The candy's seal was opened upon arrival, and I messaged the company after realizing this. They were quick to respond and sent out a new package quickly, and it arrived before Christmas. I was told the candy was delicious as well!

i should have read the ingredients before i ate nearly half the container, because "confectioners glaze" is a euphemism for product made from insects (bugs) ... which is super common in lots of foods and its a sick joke that they are allowed to hide the fact that they are actually feeding us BUGS! if you dont care about the fact they are hiding insect secretions in much of our food today and want to support the practice: the taste cant be criticized and its super addictive (hence why i ate half the container before i read the ingredients) i hope we can get an option to buy this this without the bug paste ingredient in the near future.

I purchased these for my man and was hesitant to try them for myself, but did. THEY ARE AMAZING! Seriously the best chocolate licorice (who even knew that was a thing) I have ever tasted and am hooked. I really think this is the best treat you can have if you aren’t really a sweets kind of person. The chocolate and licorice work really well together. They are worth the price and once you have one, you’ll definitely be buying more. EDIT: I have now repurchased these 5 times. If you are the the fence with getting them, just buy them. They are worth the cost. The only downside is you will become addicted, but some things in life are worth being addicted to!

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my husband whose favorite candy is licorice all-sorts. He was instantly a fan. They come in an attractive package with a resealable lid so he can take one or two and keep the rest fresh. It’s a unique gift that you can’t find anywhere else. I’m planning to purchase a different variety each for his upcoming birthday, Valentines, and yes, next Christmas. :)

A friend of mine said, "everything is better with food, adding either chocolate or cheese". I thought that was rubbish and mentioned licorice. This changed my mind !!!! These are absolutely divine. I think that they are better out of the fridge. I didn't want to share them AT ALL. If you love licorice and chocolate, you can't go wrong with these......just hide them from everyone
