Outstanding!!!!
I only caught a little bit of Andre's career as a kid, but I always thought he was cool. I heard this was pretty good, and I have to admit, I bought it and watched it for the first time, not really knowing what to expect. It was fascinating!!!! I am more of a fan of Andre the Giant now than I had been as a kid, I have so much more respect for who he was and what he did with his life in the face of severe adversity. He has become a hero of mine.

Wrestling
This was a great biography of his life. Too bad they didn't have more one on one interviews with Andre himself. Sad the way he passed away.

Great DVD
I am definitely not disappointed at all in this DVD. I think it's great. Not bad at all for 10 bucks. Worth it.

A great look back at Andre's life - and the early days of modern Pro Wrestling
This was a great documentary filled with first hand accounts, no "I once heard it from a guy" stories. Well shot, good cinematography for the interviews, well chosen archive footage. Very empathetic look at Andre, and you get to see the history of modern pro wrestling that paralleled Andre's rise.

Not exactly what I thought....
This is a pretty decent little DVD for Andre but hopefully they put something out soon with some more depth and matches. I think an entertainer the magnitude of Andre and considering what he accomplished is more than deserving of it. But as far as being really the only product out there solely dedicated to him it's ok. I can't complain about the cost but I'd be willing to pay more for more content that's for sure. Definitely would like to see his career be given the respect and attention it deserves in DVD form. I can't say it's a must have purchase but again considering the lack of available content on him if you're a fan it's worth picking up... I guess ...

Worth the money
Great Andre bio. In depth and entertaining. The film really does a great job describing The rigors of the profession and the many ways it can take it's toll on a man. There's a brotherhood that exists in the world of professional wrestling and this film highlights that fact. I've seen it 2wice.

It was a great documentary of Andre, and how he became a wrestler. It showed what his life was like.

Probably the best movie I've ever seen.
It was impossible to not be sad at the end. But man, what a great movie.
