An excelent model from Bachmann
I am based in Scotland and building a layout based on Caledonian Railways. This model is based on the Caledonian "Jumbo". I bought the model to use as the basis of a conversion, so Donald will have some detailing added, and he will, unfortunatly be losing his face. The model runs very quietly and is very smooth when running, it is perfect for the reason I have bought it for. As a childs "toy" it is a great representation of the Thomas character, and compared with the older models the moving eyes are a great addition. An excelent model.

Great running twin train
I loved donald and douglas since i was a kid than the annoying bill and ben twins. I have gotten donald the same day as emily. i have also gotten douglas, percy and edward all the exact same time as well. Great train and my thomas collection is almost complete

Dishonest merchant
Bought this train for my grandson. It was defective: wouldn’t go forwards, only backwards. Exchanged it for another one, and it did the same thing: wouldn’t go forwards, ONLY BACKWARDS. Returned for refund and was charged a restocking fee on DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE! Restocking fees are for merchandise that can be resold NOT FOR DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE. Now this merchant will get full credit for these trains from his supplier AND a restocking fee from the customer. This is dishonest, I bought this item in good faith just to get ripped off. Buyer beware!

These Bachmann Trains are always great and always work. Many other toys purchased on line are hit or miss, but Bachmann never fail to be great. Thanks Bachmann and Thanks Amazon.

wrong direction
This engine runs ion the opposite direction of all the others that run on DC when powered. This is the third time I've gotten this to happen. I demand a complete refund of these three products, 2 Douglas and one Donald, and to have them to be made sure they all run in the correct direction when powered.
