Food Coloring AmeriColor - Super Black Soft Gel Paste, 4.5 Ounce

Ok, I can't go back! The depth of color these bring out are incredible! I have such a hard time (with ither gels) to get a deep red or deep black. This gave such a deep black and red with such a little amount. Awesome product!

For me, it's the best brand for adding color to my decorations. They never disappoint.

My husband is a dark chocolate enthusiast. He absolutely loves anything dark chocolate. I tried a new recipe for Black Midnight Cake with this food coloring and after seeing several reviews and suggestions to make it work.....I was amazed at how beautifully it worked on attaining the black coloring. It was easy to use and the quality was perfect. The bottle size was ample for my needs, especially since you don't need to use a lot to achieve the purpose of black coloring. The only hiccup is it can stain the tongue but not teeth or lips. I highly recommend buy this for your coloring needs.

I make macarons, and I got an order for a tower that included black macs. I have used other black food colors before and they usually cast gray or purple. But this one was highly reviewed, and also recommended by a macaron group I am in. It absolutely lived up to the hype! Holy cow. (And the customer LOVED the end result!) I also did not notice a strong aftertaste, as can sometimes be the case with food dyes. I will never use another black food color- this is it. Be warned though, it will turn your mouth black for the day, and your poo green for a couple days 😬 but that's par for the course with black food color. Just important to note so there are no, um, surprises. Haha

I've ordered AmeriColor a lot and don't usually have a problem with them. The colors are way higher quality and more potent than any food coloring you'll find at craft or grocery stores. But my new Super Black arrived quite exploded. The box it shipped in wasn't damaged and the Chocolate Brown in the same shipment was fine, and luckily only a little black got on the inside of the box and not the other products packed with it. Maybe it was just a manufacturer error that didn't seal the bottle properly. I still recommend this product
