- Gum Paste Flower Rack

It got so much easier to hang on and dry lots of flowers together. Easy to assemble but very thin. Be very careful while putting the flowers on it.

Follow the reviews on how to assemble it so it doesn't wobble. If you do, it works perfectly, assembles in seconds and it was great to have a place to dry my flowers upside down. You might think you don't have to spend the money and can jury-rig something at home to dry the flowers upside down, but I couldn't come up with a way in my kitchen. So this really came in handy to make roses. The best part was that it takes up almost no space for storage - just dis-assemble and goes back in its slim box. This might be obvious, but just be sure to spread out your drying flowers and not overload one branch of the rack or the whole thing will tumble over - it's just light plastic.

I love that this folds up and comes apart for storage so it doesn't take up much space. It makes making sugar flowers so much easier!

this drying rack is tall, and at first I did' t think it would be sturdy enough but was. The only thing that I think they can improve on is to make a flat base, instead of the open hole which is a feature that allows you to add other frying racks and make it taller still.

I bought this when I took Wilton course number four, "Advanced Gum Paste Flowers". When you are putting gum paste flowers on floral wires, you need a handy place to hang them up to dry. This works quite nicely. The fact that it folds for storage is a plus so that it doesn't take up much room when you aren't using it. I saw previous reviews that didn't like the rack because it wasn't steady. Mine also went kaput when I used it the first time. Then my Wilton instructor showed me the right way to put it together. The bottom piece should be 'upside' down to the other sections. As you can see in the picture, the legs are not in the middle they are hinged to the bottom. When you put down the first or base piece, the legs/drying arms should be closest to the table. Attach the subsequent pieces in the opposite way with the drying arms at the top, otherwise they will simply collapse when you try and put flowers on them. The product description says "Instructions Included," but I sure didn't find any with mine and that is the reason this product only gets four stars from me.

We make gum paste and fondant flowers and using the rack allows the flower petals to dry in a more natural position rather than in a cup or laying down. The item is as described and it arrived from the seller as scheduled.

Love how this item doesn't take up a lot of space on my work station. It goes upward and not outward. If your into sugarpaste flowers then you would love this item.

This is an unstable cheap piece of plastic; however, it does get the job done... There is no defined base because all the pieces are the same and the plastic does not lay flat enough for a secure foundation. If you only plan to use the drying rack a handful of times, then it'll do, but if flower making is a passion, invest in something with more substance. Wilton has a reputation for producing cheap plastic decorative tools and this is no exception.

Me sirvió mucho aparte de que es muy útil como exhibidor y aparte a veces me sirve hasta para decorar, llegó a tiempo y sin maltrato en el empaque.

This product is not good quality and therefore does not allow for the drying of much pasta. It isnt sturdy enough to hold up.

Der Ständer ist sehr leicht zusammen zu bauen und auch relativ stabil :)Funktioniert gut, um Fondantrosen daran zu trocknen. Hätte aber vielleicht ein kleines bisschen günstiger sein können, dafür, dass es "nur ein Plastik Gestell" ist.Bin trotz allem zufrieden und bereue den Kauf nicht! :)

I read the other reviews before I bought this: some good, some bad...It works well, and is stable if, and only, if you put it together the way it is on the picture ( bottom section with the arms pointing UP. To make sure it dosen't get knocked- over I also tape it down my work table.Works for me!
