New Look Misses' Coat with Hood Sewing Pattern Packet, Design Code S9129, Sizes XS-S-M-L-XL

This is my new go to coat pattern due to the versatile pieces It includes. Standard pattern. Instructions are simple to follow, and I found the finished garment is true size and fits very nicely. Very tailored.

Great pattern! I can't wait for cold weather! I also plan to use a thinner quilt to make a robe with this pattern.

Pattern is just what I hoped for but took about a month to get here. Can’t wait to make a jacket!

Very easy to put together

I like this pattern a lot. It’s simple, and goes together quickly. I’ll use it for a fleece coat and for a terry bathrobe. Note that it does need 60” wide fabric. For the coat, I’ll likely use two fabrics and make it reversible. You could also easily add large buttons or a belt.

I'm an intermediate level sewer. This coat was easy and quick to make. The instructions on putting the hood/ front section on were a bit confusing, but i found a follow along video on Y.T. which really helped clarify. Even the short version was longer than I wanted. I ended up taking about 5 inches off the length.

This is the perfect pattern for up-cycling vintage quits into coats I've made the size small 3 times now for my daughters and I. We all like the fit. My daughter is 5'10" 130lbs she loves it. The other daughter is 5'8" and 150lbs and I'm 5'5" 160lbs. I wanted it long like a duster but I had to shorten the length on mine so I didn't trip on it. I don't remember what the pattern instruction say but about finishing the seam but the over all construction was fairly simple. I did flat felled seams which was tricky inside the final arm seams but the finish was worth the effort.

This is a really easy to sew coat pattern that is surprisingly versatile. I had no problems with following the pattern. Makes a fantastic quilt jacket.

Es un buen patrón, en mi caso no encontré la tela que es del mismo color por fuera y por dentro pero aún así me gustó el resultado. No te vas a arrepentir de hacerte tu abrigo.

Really nice , easy to make coat. I am making quilted coats with this pattern and they are turning out really nice! Love it!I have been making the shortest version.
