Quarrow Portable Digital Fishing Scale

Although I liked this digital fish scale in the beginning, I did have some problems with keeping the battery inside the unit. The battery cap would keep falling off.This scale lasted about one year and died. Was easy to use when it was working!Don't really recommend this item since it just doesn't last as long as you need it for.

I got a couple of them for Xmas gifts to fishing buddies. I got another similar scale -different brand- last yea and so far is doing what is supposed to do, no problems, very useful for hard core sport fishermen like us.These ones have even a thermometer and ruler incorporated.The biggest problem is that infrequent users store these in their tackle and forget to take the batteries out at the end of the seasons. Like any battery operated device they need to have their batteries in check to prevent acid leaks damaging the devices.

the scale works well after you figure out what to buttons to press and how many times to press them to get the scale ready to use. The screen is difficult to see. It is not the most user friendly product i own.

Not as accurate. This product measures/calibrated to read 2lbs less than actual weight. Caution!!

My husband actually needed this to weigh his ruck sacks. We ordered it from over seas and it arrived intact and has been a real help to him. We were very satisified with this scale and even tho we dont use it for fish it still works great!

This was ordered as a Christmas gift for my father in law, and he absolutely loved it. My only concern when receiving it was that the packaging seemed to be damaged/opened a little on the side. There didn't appear to be any signs of tampering though, so I didn't make a fuss about it.

Wish I had read all the reviews before I purchased. Same issues as others battery door broke, battery diagram wrong, buttons hang up, tape was hard to get out and hard to get in and a powdery substance came out as tape was going in.

This was a Christmas present for my dad. Unfortunately, he did not try it out in time to return it. I was very disappointed when the item did not work. Shame on you, Amazon!!!
