The most beautiful yarn I've ever used ❤️
Okay, for beginners.. I say maybe not only bc if you need to frog your work, you may have a hard time. But OMG I LOVE THIS YARN AND THE COLOR HEIRLOOM!!! I've been wanting to try this yarn for like 2 yrs and I finally bought it. The colors are beautiful and it's easy to crochet with. It's a roving style yarn so it gets thick in some places and thin in others, but it is not a problem. I just can't get over how pretty the colors are. I will try to post a Pic later on, of the scarf I'm making.

Just beautiful
This is the softest most beautiful yarn I have ever used. It’s not bulky but has good volume. The colors are gorgeous. I chose stained glass. Yes there are some variations in the thickness of the yarn but nothing that hampered my crocheting. If you need to undo stitches I suggest you are gentle and sometimes it will tangle slightly but I had no problem detangling it. I will definitely buy again.

Beautiful colors
This yarn is easy to knit with. The fibers can get caught if you need to rip out a stitch but it does not hurt the yarn. The colors are blended well and very beautiful. I'm crocheting a beret so this yarn is perfect for this.

Pretty yarn, crochets up quickly
I really enjoyed working with this yarn. I crochet chemo caps for charity, and I usually use cotton thread or cotton yarn, but I was intrigued by the Unforgettable colors. This yarn is actually quite thin (which is my preference) with an occasional thicker section. I first became aware of this yarn when I saw a pattern for it that used a 4.0mm hook, which is the largest I normally use, so I bought a few skeins to try it. I would never use a 6.0mm hook, which is the size used for the gauge on the label. Before I did many rounds of the first cap, using a 4.0mm hook, I realized I needed to switch to a smaller hook, so I went to a 3.75mm. Further on, I went even smaller, to a 3.50mm. That was perfect. I made a second cap, using the 3.50mm, and that is what I will use from now on with this yarn. If you use the 6.0mm hook that Red Heart recommends, you will have gaps, and I don’t want gaps in chemo caps. I used a Clover Amour aluminum crochet hook, and I had absolutely no problems whatsoever with the hook splitting the yarn. In fact, the yarn worked up very quickly and easily and was a pleasure to work with. I did not have any problems unraveling mistakes (nobody’s perfect). You just need to do it slowly and don’t let the fibers twist and knot. The color changes are of what I would consider medium length. Working a chemo cap in double crochet, I would get more than a row in the same color, with one exception. I used the Winery color, and once on each cap, there was a short streak (about half a round) of a very, very bright pink. It really sticks out like a sore thumb, especially because it was always at a thick point in the yarn. I was not happy with that, but the rest of the colors were pretty. The final caps were reasonably soft, not super soft. My main complaint is that, for this price, I could not get two chemo caps out of one skein. That’s absurd. I finished one and two-thirds of a cap with one skein. FYI, I haven't knitted in many a year, and I cannot speak to how this yarn knits up.

Super soft. Like wearing a cloud.
Awesome for shawls and scarves. Colors are yummy. Just completed a shawl in the 'Echo' color as a gift. Now making a fishnet poncho in 'Tidal.' Super soft and almost weightless. Just as a suggestion,if you need something with some heft to it so it hangs properly, this is not the correct yarn. This is reminiscent of fine lambs wool, but is all acrylic. Washes very well by hand. Needs minimum blocking. Perfect for throws and baby blankets or hats. I can't wait to make a scarf/hat set for winter. Can't say enough GOOD things about this yarn.

Beautiful and soft
Cons: This yarn was a bit challenging to work with, the fibers separate if you're not careful and taking out stitches to fix problems is difficult. Pros: It is so beautiful and soft. The pictures don't do it justice. If you're patient with it, it's well worth using. Makes a very snuggly warm scarf, my mom loved her gift I made with it.

gorgeous
I love Unforgettable yarn and this color way is the best one yet. I wouldn't recommend this yarn for beginners since the thickness varies, and it is fuzzy so it has a tendency to interlock with itself, making it difficult to tear out should that become necessary. The colors are gorgeous, very rich shades in a lovely combination.

Frustrating to work with
This yarn is a beautiful color and it is very eye catching. However...the more you work with it the fuzzier it gets and the fibers separate from the yarn. I tried making a top with it and the yarn would easily break while applying tension. I also felt and saw the fibers become fuzzy and come off of the yarn. It drove me crazy because I had yarn fibers get into my eyes, nose and mouth as I crocheted. It was really a waste of money.

This yarn is a real joy to work with, particularly for crochet. The colour changes, and the way the colours read against each other as the garment grows, keep the knitter/crocheter motivated. The yarn is now a summer jacket.
