Barry M Cosmetics Lid Lock Eyeshadow Primer Clear

This works well, a little gritty on application but if you ignore that and blend the bits out it works as a great non greasy base that keeps shadow in place all day with no creasing. I'm 60 yrs old and this is the best eye shadow base I've tried so far.

Best eyeshadow primer I've used. It does have a gritty texture but that seems to absorb quickly. Makes eyeshadow look much brighter and last longer and stops any creasing. Only need a very small amount and allow to dry completely before applying eyeshadow. Also use on my nose and tzone where my skin is more oily and foundation can pool in the pores. This completely stops that too.

I usually use too faced eyeshadow insurance as an eyeshadow primer but as it's expensive I decided to try the barry m lid lock. It's is quite thick and creamy and a small amount goes far. It slides on the eyelid easily and keeps my eyeshadow from creasing and as a result is lasts much longer. For the price, it is an excellent alternative to other, much more expensive eye primers. However, on 2 occasions the product I received wouldn't dispense from tube and when I cut the plastic tube open, the primer was hard and clumpy. Obviously the primer shouldn't be like this but the product itself is worth buying.

I used to use urban decay eyeshadow primer, but switched to this as it's cheaper. I can really tell the difference. This product is just about adequate. Sometimes it remains tacky which makes it difficult to apply eyeshadow evenly, sometimes it doesn't blend into my eyelid properly, looking claggy and needs to be removed and reapplied. Everytime I open the tube the uppermost section has become a little dried and I need to squeeze out the top portion into a tissue before I can use it. However, these problems aside, it does keep my eyeshadow in place all day and I would re-order it - unless urban decay reduce their prices!!

I really wanted to like this product and wanted something to help keep my eye makeup on for longer, but I just can’t, it honestly didn’t make any difference. My makeup still came off as fast as it did before I started using it and it didn’t seem any easier to apply. As well, the texture of this primer is honestly awful. When you apply it the product immediately breaks apart and goes almost grainy and gritty. As it dries you’re left with these little bits of product all over your face which feels almost like sand. I have to use a dry tissue to wipe off the tiny bits before applying anything. So yeah, I can’t say I’d recommend this product. It somehow seems to have worked well for some people looking at these comments but I’m not entirely sure how. Maybe a different primer would do a better job.

Look I'm over 50 and I am always hot. I've spent hundreds on waterproof mascara which always ends up on my lid. Read reviews and thought try it. You only need a little it feels gritty when you put it on but it rubs in well. Mascara lasts all day without me having to check for panda eyes

I don't normally leave reviews but I am thoroughly impressed with this product especially with the cheap price, I have recently started wearing more eyeshadow lately but always ended up with product build up or creases after an hour or so, I used this product this morning and 14 hours in my make up has not budged, its easy to apply and very light, I will be buying again.

Ich kann die schlechten Bewerbungen nicht verstehen! Habe es trotzdem gekauft und bin begeistert 🤩 die Konsistenz ist ein festes „Würmchen“ wenn es aus der Tube kommt... es lässt sich sehr schön auftragen, macht das Lid glatt, (ich habe schon einige Falten, weil Ü50). Lidschatten und Liner lassen sich leicht auftragen und hält wirklich!!! (Bin damit eingeschlafen und am nächsten Morgen war immer noch alles an seinem Platz 👀 und ich habe Schlupflider!!! Das Zeug ist absolut Partytauglich 👍🥳 ich kann es wirklich weiter empfehlen !!!

Awful clumpy mess.

Ottimo, ero un pò dubbiosa per il prezzo contenuto, ho dovuto ricredermi. Il primer permette all'ombretto di risaltare e resistere ore sulla palpebra, anche metallizzato e con glitter. Ho una palette nuova della Nabla , la Cutie Nude, e non riuscivo a stendere l'ombretto, avevo fall out e il colore non si vedeva sull'occhio. In più mi dava un po' di fastidio e bruciore. Con questo primer ho risolto. Ho 59 anni e la pelle delicata.

Its a good product no complaints

I have finally found my holy grail eyeshadow primer. I have tried practically every primer put there for my oily, hooded lids. I can finally get through a full shift at work with no eyeshadow creases. Prior to this I was using Wet N Wild, but this has blown it out of the water. I've already ordered a backup. My only critique is that it can be just a little difficult to squeeze the product out of the tube.
