How will i know im getting an authentic cold steel ad10 and not a chineese knockoff?

Review the product. Scrutinize every detail. China makes very good copies but they usually miss the finest details. Watch every video on yt on the AD 10. Ask other knife reviewer's and see what they have to say. Also a dead give away would be the price. If the Authentic AD 10 on Amazon is around $150.00 and you see it advertised for half or more, most likely your getting a fake from China.

How do I know this is not real it’s a Chinese knock off?

Isn’t this considered a gravity knife??

No, it’s not a gravity knife. Not any more than many other types of knives that open when you loosen the detent that holds the blade closed. Button lock, Compression lock, Axis lock and many other knives can swing open just like the AD-15 when you take the detent tension off the blade.
