Excellent Inflator – Fast, Accurate, and Easy to Use!
I’m genuinely impressed with the Ring RTC1000 digital tyre inflator. It’s incredibly easy to use, and the digital pressure gauge is very accurate. I especially appreciate the memory function and how quick the inflation process is – it took under 2 minutes per tyre! The preset target pressure feature is brilliant; I just set it to my desired value and it automatically stops once reached. The built-in LED light is a nice touch for night use, and the carry case makes storage simple and tidy. The cable and hose length are also more than enough to reach all tyres comfortably. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable, compact, and efficient tyre inflator to keep in the car!

Compact, reliable, and award-winning — the tyre inflator every driver should have
I can honestly say the RING ULTRAINFLATE 20 Digital Tyre Inflator has completely changed how I manage my vehicle’s tyre pressure. From the moment I unpacked it, I was impressed. It’s compact and lightweight, making it incredibly easy to store in the boot or even under a seat, yet it feels solid and durable. The design clearly prioritizes convenience, which is something I’ve struggled to find with other inflators. The standout feature for me is the auto-stop function. I can set the exact tyre pressure I want, press start, and walk away. The inflator automatically stops when the target pressure is reached. I also love the progress meter, which shows the current pressure in real-time, so I’m never guessing whether my tyres are properly inflated. It’s reassuring and saves so much time, especially during busy mornings when I don’t want to fuss over manual pumps. It’s easy to see why this product won the Auto Express Best Buy of 2025. RING Automotive has a reputation for high-quality, reliable products, and this inflator lives up to that standard. The build quality is excellent — everything feels solid and well-engineered, with no flimsy plastic parts or awkward fittings. Even the Type-C power connection is a thoughtful touch, making it faster and easier to recharge than older models. I’ve used the ULTRAINFLATE 20 on multiple vehicles, including my car and my bike, and it handled both effortlessly. I’ve also tested it with sports equipment and inflatable furniture, and it performed flawlessly every time. It’s versatile, efficient, and much easier to use than the bulky or noisy inflators I’ve tried in the past. Overall, this is a user-friendly, reliable, and high-quality tyre inflator. If you value efficiency, accuracy, and peace of mind while driving, the RING ULTRAINFLATE 20 is worth every penny. It’s compact enough to carry anywhere, powerful enough to handle multiple tasks, and intuitive enough that anyone can use it without reading a manual. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone — it’s clear why it’s considered one of the best on the market.

Great inflator but cable needs to be longer.
Good little inflator. Although some say it's bulky, it is in fact more compact than the one I'm replacing. It's solidly built and inflates the tyres pretty rapidly. The hose-to-valve screw on connector is in my opinion, easier to use and more secure than the snap-on lever type I had before. Three variable readouts on the bright clear screen (PSI, BAR and kPi). It's also quieter than my old one, 90db v 97db, and has neater storage for hose and cable which winds nicely back into the body, so avoiding squeezing spaghetti into a recess and having to untangle cable before use I do have a gripe though. The blurb states that 'The long 3.5M cable and 70cm air Hose make it easy to reach the tyres all around the vehicle.' This isn't the case for my car and I suspect other more recent cars which have the 12 volt socket in the boot. The only way to reach the front tyres is to feed the cable through the ski hatch and through the interior of the car. There is then very little slack in the cable which makes it awkward if there are people or equipment in the car. Another metre on the cable would ease this scenario. It may be harsh but I've just been using it in a rain/hail squall and having to open three doors and the boot while faffing about, ended up with the passengers getting pretty wet and grumpy. Nevertheless 4 stars for being a brilliant wee machine but one off for the short cable.

Essential purchase
Excellent product. Easy to use, compact and good value. Carry case is nice to store it. Fairly noisy but most are. Used to top up tyres a few times including when i had a slow puncture. Works quickly and saves the hassle of driving to find one at a petrol station!

Good piece of kit
Easy to use, clear display and once target pressure set, pump runs until preset reached and switches off. Cable and air line length both good to reach all 4 wheels. Seems reasonably sturdy construction. Complete with deflate option which is a good feature when air pressures need to be adjusted on a tow car. Carry case supplied. Overall good value for money and relatively quieter than its predecessor

It looks good, but would have taken hours to fill a balloon
After getting a new car, and as it doesn't have a spare tyre, only a bottle if some liquid that is said to make a temporary repair to a small puncture, along with a small air pump that has a small dial to show the pressure being pumped into a tyre, I decided to treat all four tyres to having what is known as Slime in them. On buying what I thought was an ideal air pump, which the pressure can be set that once reached the pump switches off. Waiting for a fine day I then let down the tyres, squeezed each plastic container of the Slime into the deflated tyre, but after plugging the power lead into the cars cigarette lighter type socket, and screwing the airline onto the reassembled valve, I switched on the machine after setting the Air pressure to the required for the tyre. After only a few seconds the pump stopped, but the tyre was still flat, so resetting the pump and checking that the light worked, proving that the power was reaching the item, I again pressed the start button, and once again after only a couple of seconds the pump stopped again. Several more attempts were made, with the same result. Soon I managed to get the cars smaller pump out from under the floor in the boot. Connecting it up and screwing the hose connection onto the tyre valve I then pressed the switch. Within a couple of minutes, and carefully watching the rapidly vibrating needle on the pressure gauge the machine was switched off after filling the tyre with the correct pressure of air. Several minutes later all the tyres were inflated to their correct pressures. On putting things away, in the knowledge that the threat of having any normal puncture would be instantly sealed, I then took the new air pump back in the house. With being disabled a friend a few day earlier had lped take out the several sorted out types of rubbish that the council have recently provided for the 4 categories of refuse, and as the bin holding waste paper and cardboard had been emptied, it was then discovered that my friend had seen the carton the Air pump had been in, along with the small instruction leaflet. So with the carton and ins/auction no longer available I decided that the item would make a short trip, after trying to see if it would work using a different power socket that I have for updating my Tom Sat/Nav, used as a backup should the one cledfitted in the car have a problem. After trying to see if the air pump worked it again switched off after a couple of seconds, so it will be driven less than a mile to where it can go away to be recycled ino something that might work in a device that will be of use to somebody. So if you do buy one of this type of air pump, don't wait until it might be needed, but set it up and check that it works, and keep the packaging somewhere safe, in case the item needs to be returned for any reason, as otherwise your money will have been wasted.
