Not quite as nice as my old Police but pretty close.
I have a police knife I bought like 15 years ago which is all SS and pinned instead of the screws still has the notch in the lock. Although the fitment is very tight and no wiggle or anything while locked I wish it had the little bit extra beveling on the handle that my Police has. Now I do gotta say this is the sharpest knife I have ever touched. I got my french Sabatier carbon steel kitchen knife hair cutting sharp but not just push onto paper it cuts it sharp that's crazy for a pocket knife but I love it. Only thing is I suck at sharpening. I'm so sad I have sharpened so many things and nothing even gets remotely close other than my straight razor which there really isn't any technique too. Not as sexy too, it's kinda cool it has the extra holes for clip positions but honestly it makes it look kinda dumb especially with the extra holes for the screws holding the knife together. Kinda nice it could come apart but I haven't needed to take my 15 year old one apart don't really think it was necessary. I mainly got it so if I carried one I would lose the one that isnt something I nearly had half my life. Plus the police knife is pretty standoutish so I've been mildly nervous cause it has a 4.25" blade and you kinda supposed to have a permit for anything over 4" concealed. Just asking for an officer potentially seeing it and being like oh nice it says police, oh and it's over length.... Mine now. Especially since it is so flashy the police one is like 1" longer altogether so a random karen might see me whip out my pocket sword to sharpen a pencil and create a scene. No technicalities for the Endura.

Flatter, Narrower, and Sexier Endura
I own many Enduras after buying, trying, and retiring many MANY knives from all sorts of companies including Buck, Cold Steel, CRKT, Kershaw, Sog, Zero Tolerance, Benchmade, Leatherman (yes they make a folding knife that's not a multitool). For the size, ergonomics, weight and strength they are, in my humble opinion UNBEATABLE! The blade length to weight ratio is amazing. They are identical in length to your Buck 110, but literally over half the weight. I usually carry a Full Flat Grind endura and a fully serrated endura for less weight than my Buck 110. And for what it's worth I've stabbed thru multiple tires and still have ZERO bladeplay. Best folding knife I've ever owned by far!!! Plus with the spyderco Sharpmaker I once got the edge of my VG-10 steel so scary sharp, I literally split a hair on it just by placing the hair on the blade as it rested on the countertop edge side up. WICKED CRAZY SCARY SHARP. I had to euse the ultra fine stones that I bought aside from the Sharpmaker itself but, you get the point. Dollar for dollar this is THE BEST BLADE of this size. For anything smaller I would recommend the Delica or even Dragonfly frrom Spyderco. For a bigger blade (which is HUGE) i would go for the Cold Steel XL Voyager. They make multiple blade shapes, i enjoy the Vaquero. But if you are still reading this review I would highly recommend the Spydercco Endura. Any and all flavors are great. Differences of this stainless steel handled version are1. Narrower and more substantial (weighty) handle.2. Shiny pocketclip3. Saber ground blade.P.S. this version was so scary sharp out of the box I could shave my face dry with it.

Nothing quite like a pocket straight razor...
Spyderco has long garnered a name as a quality knife maker. And most agree that they rank among the top ranked full production knife makers in the world. The endura line has proved to be a top seller due to their quality and (relatively) low price. And I must say WOW! I'd never seen a blade this sharp before...we're talking scary sharp! You could shave with it... Needless to say the paper test was a huge success! After six months of abuse this blade has lost it's razors edge but will still split paper with ease. I'll get around to sharpening it someday and have every faith that it will take and hold that edge well.As a defencive tool, you'll find more expensive models but none that do the job better. The large thumb hole makes opening a snap or perhaps I should say a "click." Opening techniques vary but the thumb hole gives the handler a feeling of security that thumb studs somehow lack. As for the handle, the ergonomics are phenominal! However, the smooth stainless finish might be a turn off for some. I like it, but it certainly won't be for everyone. One issue I've noticed is that the blade has developed a micro ammount of latteral play. I've put it thru quite litterally thousands of opening and closing cycles. Not to worry, Spyderco said send it in to them and they'll repair or replace it free of charge. I'm extremely satisfied with this knife, so much so that I'm buying a second.

Best bang for buck!
The Endura is my new favorite Spyderco knife...And before you say anything, yes I do own a Paramilitary...I actually own 3! The Endura in my opinion takes the cake. The way it feels in the hand is so fluid and smooth. The blade shape is perfect for daily use and also force protection if need be. Hair shaving sharp straight out of the box. What more could you ask for! I chose the steelhandle because it’s more of a gentleman folder; I wear suits everyday. This is a super thin folder that fits in the pocket perfectly! And the biggest kicker is the price...This is a steal at just a tick over $100! If you don’t own one and you love spyderco, please get one for your collection...You will not regret it!
