Surprisingly tasty, creamy, and mixes well.
I didn't know what to expect with this but after a few weeks of use I am happy to report that yay! I found this to be very tasty, too. I can't put my finger on exactly what the chocolate tastes like but it reminds me of a chocolate cookie from my childhood! I've had it in cold water and that was nice and smooth , but does tend to gel up a bit so stirring before each sip is needed if you don't like that mouth feel. For the last month I've had o e scoop in my morning coffee to which I also add pure stevia powder and bamboo extract powder among other herbs like bacopa and a powdered mushroom blend. Oh. My. Goodness. I'm hooked!!! Pros: Organic ingredients, grain free, plant derived protein profile, mild and very tasty chololate flavor that blends well into other drinks and stands on its own in water, soft powder, mixes well and is wonderfully creamy as long as it's stirred (tends to gel up if not constantly stirred.) Cons: a very light and dusty powder so beware of the *poof* of chocolate dust if you quickly dump it too quickly into your cup. Lol Also if not mixed/stirred well (and often) in water or coffee the powder tends to congregate back together and make a bit of a slimy, stringy film. I assume this isn't an issue if used in smoothies. But don't worry! When mixed well & continually stirred before every few sips it's delightful and creamy! If you gulp down your drink as soon as you make it you won't have to worry about this.... But if you like to savor the flavor you'll want to keep a spoon or stir stick handy. Overall takeaway: this is a great product and I really enjoy it. I bought a second bottle already.

Great Vegetarian Protein Source
On my 3 rd can so I feel I can offer an informed opinion. Invaluable in helping out with my Slow Carb diet and reducing dependence on Whey. With this, I get a balanced protein profile with a lot more fiber. I like that the main constituents are Pea and Hemp with some value added supporting ingredients. To be honest, I do not care about these add-ins but as they fill in after the pea and hemp, I have no issues. Taste for the chocolate is palatable as is - I add some cinnamon - with only a very mild powdery pea taste. I do find it a bit sweeter than I would like but not overwhelming at all. I mix mine with plain water and have no complaints with the taste. It is pricey but I do feel like the quality of the ingredients used and the overall taste of the product justifies is. Will continue to use this as long the quality holds true and the price stays relatively consistent.

Wanted to try a non-dairy but...
This is decent, all great ingredients, mixes good,I added it to my muffins and it taste very good. But as for a smoothie with strawberries or blueberries Not so great, taste was off alittle. Not bad with vanilla extract and a banana with a apple but that’s about it! It’s just Ok , I got to find something that Strawberries and blueberries can mix well with, their my fav’s and if that’s what you want to do I’d say Not this one... as for Having it with just with Almond milk or water it’s really Not that tasty and if your into looks the color is definitely not a compliment but that doesn’t matter to me it’s really All about taste!!!PS it does taste alittle better with coconut milk.

Good flavor, not too sweet!
I am on a very restrictive doctor-ordered diet right now to heal my thyroid (no sugar, no fruit, no grains, dairy, or potatoes). I needed something to help give me a boost during this healing process that I could enjoy without any added fruit (before this I always added a banana to my protein shakes). I wanted something with good flavor, that also wasn't too sweet like many of the protein powders out there. This one met all my expectations and dietary needs. I am very happy with it. In the morning, I mix this chocolate flavored protein with unsweetened coconut milk, collagen peptides, and a couple ice cubes. It taste like chocolate milk! Combined with collagen peptides, it also packs a punch with about 30 grams of protein. I will definitely be purchasing this product again.

It appears I am the 1st review :)
I just made my 1st shake. It tastes good and mixes as well as anything else. This product checks all the boxes for me: Plant-based and grain free. I've been lifting weights a lot more and have come to realize that I am not getting enough protein, even while eating lots of protein, so hopefully this will close the gap. My concern about this, and really any highly-mixed plant product, is how it will affect my digestion. I am a fully-recovered IBS patient, but I find some things cause me significantly more gas than they do other people. To the point of being physically painful. So I'll let you know in a couple days how that turns out and hopefully I don't have to lower my rating lol

Servings per container are inaccurate
I am pleased with the taste and overall quality of this shake. However, it does not contain 20 servings as stated on the label. After going through my first container more quickly than anticipated, I counted out the contents of the second container I ordered by transferring the scoops, one at a time, from the new to the old container. I counted only 25 scoops (plus a little extra). Twenty servings (2 scoops per serving) should be 40 scoops, not 25. I wonder if the instructions are inaccurate and I should only be using one scoop per serving, not two. Either way, the discrepancy needs to be fixed.
