45 degrees was just enough for a camera beside the door. 60+ degrees would have been a better choice.

This is a great job.I didn't end up using the big wall plate, I just needed the corner wedge to make the video feed more aligned.This got rid of a Halo effect I saw at night and helps me see much more

Update: Taking down to 4 stars. I noticed my Nest Hello was wiggling a but, so I checked the screws, and they would not hold tight in the plastic plate anymore. Had to find some larger, longer screws to hold it down again. If it doesn't hold, I will be returning it. Again, this brings up the need for a metal/aluminum version of this plate.This is exactly what I needed. My doorbell is in a tight corner and needed a better angle l, and also needed a spacer for it to come out a bit to avoid hitting the security door. This gave me a better angle to be able to view all the way up to the front door. I tried other products as well, and the plates were all too wide at about 3.5". This one was perfect at about 2.5" as you can see my doorbell was in a tight spot. I give it 5 stars. I would love to see a premium metal option to give it a better look as well.

I like the oval frame and also the thickness of this. Seems very sturdy. We used it with our 15 degree Nest wedge to make it a full 45 degree wedge.

I needed a 45 degree wedge and this product worked just fine. Highly recommended.

Everything works as it should. I used the included wedge to make it angle a bit more also.

The included wall plate, which doesn't have to be used, makes the Nest Hello installation look huge compared to the very neat and tidy original installation. That said, the included 30 degree mount can be used separately and will angle the Nest Hello outward significantly. Wiring is not exposed in any way.
