GLP24FS/19W/LED

I now have 4 of these lights. They also sell at Home Depot, but cost much more. I hung them from a 2 foot wide heavy duty shelving unit where they fit perfectly. I use s hooks to make them adjustable, and it works perfectly, to vary the height above the plants as they grow. I am successfully growing lettuce, spinach, bok choy, basil, parsley and stevia under these lights. I really appreciate the ability to alter light color choices of red, white, and blue, or any and all combinations easily.

Great for indoor plants. My plants are happy with it.

My plants love these lights. I use them in a Home Depot short rack in tandem and link together. Makes for a great 'rescue' area for clearance plants that I'm saving.

This review is for: Feit Electric GLP24FS/19W/LED Dual Full LED Plant Grow Tube Light, 1.73” H x 23.33” L x 4.9” D, 450 Nm Blue, 655 Nm Red Spectrum. We bought these to replace some old fluorescent fixtures we had been using in our plant shelves. I first noticed some burning/bleaching on our basil. Planted tomatoes and peppers. They grew really well but the have quickly reached the height of the lights and they are again bleaching the leaves, I assume because the light is too intense or the plants are too close to the light. I printed some diffusion sheaths on my 3D printer to diffuse the light a bit. It makes the light much nicer looking since you can't see the individual pink and blue LEDs anymore. I made the sheaths 1 mm and 2 mm thick from PLA. They just snap over the cylinders. I'll see if that helps with the bleaching, not sure how much intensity they will block.

Just wanted to keep a few herb pots alive over dark winter months, but not give up all my work surface. I transfer them to windowsills on nicer days. I plugged it into a BN-LINK surge protector timer outlet (half the outlets are on timer, half are normal so I can have desk lamp, etc plugged into it). I read that these plants need like 2 hours artificial light for every hour of sunlight - so about 14 hours under a lamp! It's easier plugged into the timer, it turns on at 6am. I used a couple of command large picture hanging damage free hanging strips to mount it under the desk, the light is very lightweight and it seems like it will hold fine. I found this dolly on Amazon too, Mount-It dolly (took a couple shipments to get one not chipped), makes it easier to maneuver them out for their field trips to the windowsill or kitchen island for a haircut.

I originally ordered one light, it arrived broken. Began the replacement process. Since it would take 2 days to get a new replacement I decided to order a new light. It arrived 1 day later, also broken. I do not recommend. I ended up opening up both boxes i received, turns out it was the hanging chains that was making the broken sound. Lights where okay, I stopped my return process. I ordered a 3rd light.

Overall great. Very easy to install, had a female plug port which makes it easy to Daisy-chain them to a single timer. Have been running them daily on a timer for 5 months without any issues and plants are growing perfectly. Using currently for lettuce (multiple varieties). Does not generate much if any heat so would get a heated mat for starting seedlings

Use these for may orchids. I put them at a distance of 8-12 inches above seedling. Won't burn leaves, plants are happy. Own them for almost two years now so they are durable. No problems so far. Good quality for the price.
