Fastway Zip 6 Foot Breakaway Cable and Switch 80-00-2060 RED

Had a short in the brake system on my 6 month old fifth wheel. The short fried the emergency switch. Fixed the short and the fried switch myself because the dealer couldn’t get me in for a warranty repair for 6 months. The switch was an exact replacement and worked perfect. Arrived a bit ahead of the estimated delivery.

I honestly don't know how you can give it less than 5 stars? the dumb thing bolts on, hooks up and has a nice cord. Don't know if it works or not and heck I hope I never find out.

Easy install, doesn't matter which wire connects to either wires from trailer. Coil cable is reason why I purchased. Tired of dealing with hanging old style breakaway wire. Red wire diameter coils up about the size of a quarter or a bit smaller and more than long enough to attach to your vehicle

Love the cable, which was almost as much as the entire switch. Very clean looking and I love the springy design that makes sure it stays off the ground. Bright red color means you are less likely to forget about it, really happy with this and it didn't cost any more than the same style that used to be on my trailer.

Ordered and paid for 6 foot but got 4 foot cables, package also said 6 feet long. Was able to solder splice an insulate, luckily. Other than the short feet, the breakaway looks functional.

I purchased the 6 foot version and it worked great for my travel trailer. I like this much more than the steel cable break away lanyard that came with the trailer.

Super easy to install. The coiled cord is a great upgrade to the previously installed switch. My old switch broke during yearly testing, so I replaced with this.

Very nice breakaway switch. The coiled cable keeps the clip from touching the ground. It is a vast improvement to the mess we had before. It was unsightly and embarrassing. I did fill the cavity behind the pin with a good quality silicone based dielectric grease to keep the internals from corroding.
