USRTCP232-302 RS232 Serial to RJ45 Ethernet Adapter IP Converter/Device Server (UK Version)

I've purchased a couple of products from USR-IOT now. This is essentially an RS-232 Terminal server that allows you to telnet via ethernet to the console port of a device that only has an RS-232 port. It has lots of configuration options via its built-in web interface. It is well made in an industrial metal case and I've found it to be 100% reliable in service in a very noisy industrial environment. The only thing to mention is that there is no capability for SSH or even a username/password to access the serial interface (there is however an admin password for the web interface) so security features rely your RS-232 device, not a problem for my application as the device sits on a private V-LAN.I've also purchased a USR-IO424T-EWR also from this company (Jinan USR IOT Technology Limited) which is equally well made and reliable. I had cause to contact their technical support in China and I received excellent service from their engineers.They offer a "Cloud" monitoring app too, it works, but I'm not sure if I want to use a Chinese cloud for my applications, so I disabled this, but I did test it and it works well enough, though the Chinese web site is rather slow (understatement of the year!)In summary two excellent products from this company with good support from China and the manuals are written in pretty reasonable English too, at this price point their products are really unbeatable for small business, small industrial or home enthusiast applications.PS: This is a Genuine review from a purchaser in SE London I'm using these devices to remote control and monitor an Amateur (Ham Radio) Television Repeater Callsign: GB3JV

I've installed these devices on over 40 sites over the past 5 years, for applications that require serial devices communicating with LAN, WAN, and cloud-based servers. I can highly recommend the RS232 & RS485 to TCP/IP device servers, WiFi & GSM devices. Easy to set up and reliable in operation.
