Perfect for house and car applications, etc. If you need and connect an NRF24L01+ wireless transceiver, you need to connect at least 2x 1.5V AAA cells. A coin battery can not deliver enough spike current to drive the wireless transceiver (or a wifi module). Even though you need a more powerful battery, you can still run it off the battery for years if you use the wireless feature carefully and only when needed. The wireless module can be send to a sleep mode where it needs almost no power.

Low-power small Arduino with nRF24L01+ header
This Atmega328p-au board with nRF24L01+ header works nice and it is very low power. It requires some programmer, such as the Picoino USB to FTDI (serial) breakout programming board module, using drivers for Win32 and Mac from the sellers website. Connect D7 to Ground to enabled LED lights. Make sure to use 3.3V when using nRF24L01+. It was recognized as a Arduino Nano (not Uno) and scripts uploaded worked well. The Black Friday sale at around $10 is a steal.
