Very useful.
My wife has issues with her knees so I got this for her to get out of her sentra easier. Also advised her to keep it in her hand while going to or from the car while shopping it makes a great weapon.

Works but doesn't lock in place
The media could not be loaded. Does lock In place as stated on info sheet in box. I tried this on THREE different cars. Same result. Twists left and right in car lock latch. So be aware and push the the tool outward.

Works as good as more expensive models!
I saw a set of two of these advertised elsewhere for $25 and almost ordered it, but I don't need 2. I checked Amazon and they had many choices all in that general price range, but then I found this one for a fraction of the price. I only need it for a short while as I recuperate from abdominal surgery so didn't want to spend a lot of money. This unit works just fine! It's sturdy and has been a huge help to me while I heal and can't use my ab strength to get in and out of the car. I would say to others, save your $ and just get this one. It's just as good!

Safe & Sturdy
Purchased for someone going through physical therapy after a hospitalization and it did a ton of the help in assisting them in and out of the vehicle! I only wish the handle was in a neon color- we sometimes forgot it was there before closing the door or lost it in the side panel storage. These should be in every car kit though! Will definitely come in handy in the future. Happy to know this helps my vehicle be a little more accessible for loved ones with mobility concerns.

Great tool that does its job.
I got this for a family member at the suggestion of her therapist. Handed it down to another family member. Invaluable tool for getting in and out of a car.

Glad I tried this
It works in my 2015 Chrysler 200. It provides great support for getting in and out of the car.

Does Not Work!
I tried this on 3 different cars. Handle does not work. It flips/flops/slips/slides around and does not "lock into place" as instructions say it should. It is a super simple mechanism, no moving parts, nothing to do but slip it in, so it should either work or not work. It's NOT work for this. Definitely dangerous if we tried to use as is.
